Why Alyce Jordan chose Estate Glucksberg and Grunwald
Alyce & Paul had the opportunity to purchase the land for Sea Swan in 1998. We knew the view would be good but didn't realize it would be spectacular. Even long time StJohnians are amazed at the wonderful view. We wanted this property because of it's privacy. Our exact location can be viewed using the satellite view on Google Maps.http://goo.gl/Qxxbr3 We previously owned Plumeria and managed it as a short term rental for sixteen successful years. SeaSwan is at the very end of the lane. There are 24 acres of undeveloped land in front of SeaSwan and a 180 degree view of the Caribbean sea. At 622 feet above sea level we enjoy gentle trade winds and complete quiet and privacy.
What makes this Apartment unique
The view is amazing and guests arrive and are taken aback when they first see it. On a clear day you can see over 100 miles. We often get the comments of "it's better than the pictures". Complete privacy for our guests. After our guests are greeted we may only see them if they seek us out or need assistance. SeaSwan is luxurious and all the seating and bedding has been chosen for comfort. Alyce & Paul stock the kitchen with all the basics unusual for rental villas. Each guest receives a wine and cheese welcome basket and breakfast basket with Alyce's homemade muffins.

First time in St. John
We just got back from a week at the Sea Swan. It was just perfect for the 2 of us. It’s about 8 min. from town. We got in around 7pm so we were thrilled to have a basket of goodies waiting for us. Since it was our first time on the island we decided against driving out at night till we got a better idea of the roads. The view is amazing. We sat out every night after the sunset and listened to the nature sounds! Very happy with our choice of rental 😊
Great Location! Will return!
We had an amazing time in St. John and our stay at SeaSwan was perfect! Wini met us at the dock, directed us to our Jeep rental and then we followed her to the house. This was VERY helpful! Once we got to the house she gave us a quick tour and then used a map to point out some of the "must see" spots! We visited every spot she mentioned!
We lost power on several occasions(the whole island was out) and Wini came by to get the pump going as soon as the power came back on!
Overall, the property was perfect! The location was almost central on the island and we quickly figured out the twists of the roads to get from one end to the other. We had breakfast each morning on the patio outside the bedroom. The views were amazing.....beautiful sunsets every day!!
Our accommodations were comfortable and all of the essentials were already there! We loaded the beach equipment in the jeep on day one and used it every day! The welcome basket was much appreciated!
SeaSwan is a perfect place for a couple that wants to relax and have lots of privacy with easy access to the beaches and restaurants!
Exactly as advertised
The location, view, and amenities were just as described. We were extremely pleased. The beautiful apartment was so nice to come home to after a full day of adventuring, and it was great to start off each morning with the amazing views!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts so glad you were happy with SeaSwan and hope you'll return.
All the Best,
Alyce & Paul
Beautiful space with great view and location
The place was clean and well-maintained, the view was stunning, and the location was a convenient drive to everything we wanted to do in Cruz Bay and the north side beaches.
Views for days (and nights)!
Beautiful decor and comfortable, fully stocked oasis! 9 days flew by! Amazing Views in the morning and at night! Great privacy and island sounds! Wonderful balconies to enjoy outdoor living as well, highly recommend!
Thanks for the kind words so glad you enjoyed SeaSwan come back again it was great having you.
Alyce & Paul
beautiful home in the most idyllic spot. It is totally worth not being in town, as the views are spectacular and the home is spacious and perfect for 2 people. You definitely need to hire a jeep if you stay here, but it's not far to the beaches and town. The large spacious outdoor area was fantastic! Would definitely recommend staying here
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts we are so glad you enjoyed our special spot of paradise.
All the best,
Alyce & Paul
