Location and views to die for. Consisting of the left hand side of a huge Montana Log Home duplex, this 5 bedroom 4 bath home is situated next to the Right O' Way ski trail. Snap-on those skis and arrive at the main base area in minutes. With south and west views from the panoramic windows you can watch the 'early-bird' skiers in the morning and catch the sun lighting up the Flat-Tops at the other end of the Yampa Valley in the afternoon.
The Great Room is the focal point for the lodge. Spacious and airy the cathedral ceiling is buttressed with huge lodge-pole pine beams and support trusses. A river stone clad fire-place and chimney reach to the top of the structure. This is next to the kitchen with its Sub-Zero and Viking appliances, making this a natural gathering point for everyone after a day on the slopes.
The great room is divided into two sections by a small set of steps. The lower kitchen / eating area has the main dining table, a large seating area, and comes complete with an audio system and 60 inch flat screen TV. The oak floors, hickory cabinetry, original art work and lodge-pole walls deliver a 'wow' factor each time you enter. The upper portion contains the game room area complete with WiFi, TV, dartboard, poker, table tennis and pool tables. A work space with office chairs is also here if the need arises.
Outside the wrap around deck has ample space for the 'grill master' to flip steaks on the large outdoor gas grill or pass drinks to those waiting in the hot-tub.
The spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, TV and radio. The master bathroom has a double basin, toilet, shower and cast iron bath. It is located on the same level as the main living space.
Underneath the game room there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the other has four bunk beds [twin beds over full-sized beds].
The lower two bedrooms each have queen sized beds, and TVs. These bedrooms each have their own bathroom with basin, toilet and shower. One bathroom is completely private the other is accessible from both the bedroom and downstairs hallway.
All the bedrooms have an abundance of draw and storage space.
The kitchen is fully equipped for a large group, 16 place settings, plenty of pots & pans, ample fridge space, including two refrigerated draws for vegetables and a unit dedicated to sodas, beer and wine.
We live 6 months of the year in Steamboat enjoying winter and fall activities. The rest of the time we spend on the east coast with family. Fortunately our jobs are location neutral so we can enjoy all the seasons Steamboat offers.

The location is fantastic, the views are great, and the unique lodge-pole pine construction gives the home an incredible natural feel. You can cook steaks on the grill, enjoy wine by the fireplace see the sun set over the mountains and wonder how you will ever leave.
A Location next to the ski slopes. Big sky views of beautiful Yampa valley. Complete with Hot Tub (winter only), Natural Fire Place, Lodge-Pole construction, a superior Kitchen and Game Room.
Be sure to hook-up with the 'Mountain Masters' for a free guided ski-day. They meet every day except Saturday. There are many restaurants to meet every taste and budget, but book early if you want to do the sleigh and restaurant combo. Check out tubing at the local town hill and at Saddle Back Ranch 10 miles out of town.
