The location of this townhouse puts you in a lovely neighborhood with shops, markets, and bistros, only a block from a Metro station. It's amazingly quiet inside the courtyard and the house was plenty spacious for the six of us. Thierry was beyond helpful--he brought us a real Christmas tree and all the trimmings!
This property is in need of much maintenance! One example is the second floor bath, when you shower the floor leaks into the kitchen floor on the first floor. No AC, tiny tv in first floor (this is a 3 story house, to call it a mansion is misleading)
Not clean and all of us notices bugs in the house.
The owner is very nice and the location is excellent.
We have enjoyed our time at the villa. We spent ten marvelous days as a family. The place was so calm within its little yard, yet in the city and close to the Bois de Boulogne. There was so much to do. The house was antique yes, but roomy and very cozy with the soft lamps at night and the sun coming in during the day. Terry Brossard was there when we had problems and they were quickly fixed. We would return in a heart beat. It was really a treat to stay in such a beautiful place.

Pros - Terry was a love to work with. So funny, charming and attentive.
The neighborhood was fabulous. Safe area, great shops, wonderful restaurants & on the Metrol 1 line. The home was large and had everything you could ever need in regards to cooking. The Monoprix is a few blocks away and was a wonderful food shopping experience. Terry supplied us with all the information we needed to have an amazing two weeks.
Cons - We Americans are used to a bit more fluff. There were no washcloths, no bathroom rugs, no toiletries. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom arrangements. Both bathrooms are located in bedrooms. This meant that there was lots of walking into each other's space. It worked fine for us because we are a family, but it would be awkward if you are not used to someone walking through your bedroom in the middle of the night.
All in all I would highly recommend this rental. We can't wait to go back.
