Only 1 short block from the sand and water!
It is much larger and roomier inside than appearance from outside may seem. Extremely clean-my wife is particular about cleanliness. Many updated rooms including kitchen, bathrooms, living room, all flooring, and master bedroom. Close to beach, Lewes City, ice cream and many shops and restaurants. We walked and/or rode bikes mostly everywhere. Tight parking spaces(as most of Lewes) and no porches to hang out in. However, overall place is very clean and bigger and much better than initial appearance from road might seem. Enjoy!!!
This house was perfect for a long weekend in Lewes for 2 young families! The location of the house was absolutely perfect, 1 block from the beach and walking distance to cute shops and ice cream stands! The layout of the house was perfect for kids as we didn't have to worry about blocking off stairs. Many beautiful recent updates have made this house an excellent rental! :)
We couldn't get over all the space. It was only 2 of us, but we could have had a convention! It was close to everything. We could walk to town or to the beach. It was a short bike ride to the Park too. It was also a nice, quiet spot.
This rental is in a perfect location. Very short walk to beach, places to eat, coffee spots, and of coarse TWO ice cream choices just steps from the house. Very clean and not cluttered. We had a great, great, great time. The bay beach is charming and perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing. We loved it and hope to return soon!!!! Just what we needed. All on one floor if you don't like stairs.
We spent a week at this property and overall it was a positive experience. The pluses are that it is walkable to the beach (bay side) and also walkable to town (Lewes itself was a pleasant surprise, very quaint, quiet and nice). The property was clean, though I would say that the furniture, beds, and kitchen all felt pretty dates. I would put the property as average, definitely not luxurious, but again it is in a good location. Also, the pictures don't show the fact that there is a separate adjoining space connected to the house which we felt impinged a bit on our privacy, and there is very limited space to park. There were also a fair number of flies and a couple of stray cats. In any case, we were satisfied enough with our stay but would probably broaden our search next year for something a little more upscale.
Our stay was very nice and we were very impressed with the home. It is much larger than what the photos show and even looks to be from the street in person. Just a short 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the main strip. We were very pleased with this rental.

We accept Check, Money Order and Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card and Discover). Deposits are due within 7 days of making your reservation (Half Rent + Reservation Fee). Final Balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If reservation is less than 7 nights, there will also be a $75.00 cleaning fee.
