Our family is the joy of our life and our home reflects this. Creating a comfortable, healthy environment is a gift that we wish to share with you. Lee is aptly known as the 'Gateway to the Berkshires' and after experiencing our home and the surrounding area, we know you will agree!!
Linda McManmon purchased this house in 1996

My family (daughter 28, son 26 and husband) planned a weekend in the Berkshires father's day weekend and and Linda's place was a great find. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and well stocked with everything you may need. There are a lot of sleeping area (more than we needed) and the bonus was the well placed quotes around the house. The house is very close to all that the Berkshires has to offer while being a peaceful retreat. After a long hike we decided to eat in and have a relaxing evening Saturday night. However for lunch we enjoyed the Starving Artist Cafe - owned by Linda's daughter!
My daughter and I spent a long weekend tougher in the Berkshires, staying in this comfortable home. We had plenty of space, with a great gourmet kitchen, delightful sunroom, incredibly comfortable beds, and marvelous hosts. The home is convenient to everything, the town of Lee, a good grocery store, shopping, and all the good attractions the Berkshires offers.
We highly recommend this home to anything ne, families, couples, seniors,. The hosts provide your with just about everything you need, including a lovely, welcoming fruit basket. We'd love to return sometime, for more hiking, skiing, or just touring. A great find!
We stayed for a few days to celebrate New Year's Eve. There were 7 adults and a 18 month old. First impression of the house was that it was beautiful- I would even say better than the pictures! When we arrived, the house was immaculate and there was a bowl of fresh food and nuts for us to enjoy. Everyone had a place to sleep and even the pullout couch in the sun room was perfect and comfortable. The stove is very tricky to light, which was probably our only complaint since we did a lot of cooking, but it all worked out. We enjoyed many local attractions and had a great time. Definitely will be back!!
We rented this home for a weekend in November. We are a group of 5 women in our fifties and this was a re-union of college friends. The house was perfect for us. The location was convenient for us as it is only a short distance from the Massachusetts turnpike. There were enough sleeping areas that we all had our own bed to sleep but we were able to spend our waking time talking around the beautiful kitchen island or in the comfortable living room. The house was exactly as shown on the web site and was extremely clean.
Linda was very easy to work with. She answered all my questions before our trip and upon arrival showed me around the house. For the one question we had regarding the house over the weekend, she responded promptly to my phone call to answer my question. She provided us a very helpful binder that answered our questions about the house including details such as which lighting fixture was controlled by which light switch. The binder also contained information and brochures about various sites, shopping and restaurants in the area.
We had a wonderful time at this house. I recommend it and would rent it again.
This is Pat's crew again and noticed 4 star and that is in error.
I thought I had entered 5 star so I want to take this time to insure that we think it is a 5 star.
Thank you again Linda
