A wonderful time in Vancouver

  • 5 of 5

We arrived on a hot sunny afternoon to a beautiful shady neighbourhood street and a lovely bright and airy apartment. The apartment is decorated very stylishly and has everything you could need.

We were greeted by our host Kristin and shown around and given lots of great tips for things to do and places to eat. The apartment has a lovely garden and backs onto an amazing park which our boys really enjoyed. Kristin was an amazing host and she has a wonderful family we felt truly at home and her attention to detail and our comfort was second to none. I highly recommend this wonderful apartment for a great place to visit vancouver and explore it is in a great location with great transport links.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for just over a week at this fabulous home and loved it. The home is super modern and clean and we loved the fun decor. We have three small kids and the house was perfectly laid out with three bedrooms and a kitchen/great room. Also loved the fun backyard with play structure and the fact that we could literally walk out the back gate to get to Trout Lake and the fun playground for the kids. Easily accessible to downtown Vancouver and really everything. The home was well equipped with all we needed and we would definitely return. Thanks so much, Kristen and Ed!

Winter Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed here over the Christmas Holidays. It was our first time to Vancouver and found this spot to be the perfect location for families or people that want to eat/shop. We skied local mountains and had a wonderful time as the commute to the ski hill was only 40. minutes. We really enjoyed night skiing. Our kids had a great time skating at the community center and enjoyed many holiday activities.

The space is absolutely beautifully designed, clean bright and cozy. We will be back. Kristen and Ed were great to deal with and were always willing to help in any way they could.

Thanks again,

Mike and Jen

Perfect family vacation rental in Vancouver!

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay in a home in Vancouver. It was great for us with two kids ages 5 and 3 and would also be great for couples. The interior decor is fabulous - beautiful to look at and highly comfortable and functional. The yard was a dream for our kids and the park beyond the yard was the highlight of our whole trip. There were ducks to feed, dogs jumping in the lake to watch, sports and ice cream trucks and a charming playground filled with all the local families including the owners of the rental unit (who live above the unit and are unobtrusive yet available for anything you may need). We just missed the public ice skating rink (closed off season) which would be fantastic for a winter vacation. I can't say enough about how beautiful and amazing this park is and it is directly out the home's back gate. We went every day at some point. It is a family's dream.

It is so easy to get around the greater city from the property. You can walk to the train or drive anywhere. There is parking in front of the house. We easily saw Grouse mountain, Granville island and market, Stanley park, downtown, and everywhere in between.

We had a fabulous trip and it was thanks to Kristin, her family, their beautiful home and their warm and welcoming hospitality. Vancouver is beautiful and fun and perfect for an adventurous family trip and you must book this home if you are reading this - I promise you'll love it. We hope to go back again one day.

Wonderful family setting

  • 5 of 5

My family very much enjoyed staying in the beautiful setting this bungalow provided. The area is a great place for children ,teenagers and adults as the bungalow is close to a huge park and play area as well there is a lake with supervision for swimming. The bungalow was very clean and the owner was quite helpful and kind to provide any assistance that was required. We would love to return , we hold many happy and fun memories for the time we were in Vancouver mainly due to this setting..highly recommend this cottage,,

A boutique Style vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I with our 3 young children stayed here while we were finishing up some renovations in our home in San francisco. We decided to holiday in Vancouver for a month and had a fantastic family vacation. Kristen and Ed were very approachable and helped us out with what ever we needed. The space is beautifully designed and very modern not to mention impeccably clean. In fact we copied some of Kristen's design idea for our place! The backyard was perfect for our kids and they really enjoyed the tree house and sandpit. As far as the location you can not get any better, as there is a huge park and playgrounds right out the back door. Our nanny took the kids on the skytrain and they travelled around the city. I would recommend this place to people of all ages.

Thanks for sharing your home with us,

G. McNabb
