Great apartment

  • 4 of 5

Hi traveler. We spent 3 nights in this lovely apartment recently. We loved it and would return. As per other comments, the 1 1/2 story climb may not be for a person with stair issues but we were helped with our luggage so that made it easier. Great location in St Germain. 2 subway lines nearby. Walk to Notre Dame, New Pont (bridge).

Plenty of restaurants on the street or nearby. Best Italian food I ever had was on this street. Groceries 10 minute walk. Pastries 2 minutes.

Provided with Nespresso coffee Pods and bread .. so nice. also mentioned .. noisy talkers on street in evening but close the window and you will be OK. Safe neighbourhood. Great Bed, TV, shower, stove and supplies to cook. Price was right as far as I am concerned. Sleeps 4 with couch, I believe, so kids would not be an issue. Enjoy the "hood"

Perfect little home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week this month and could not have chosen a better abode. The location is ideal, around the corner from St. Sulpice. The apartment is light and feels spacious. The water pressure in the shower was strong. The bed was very comfortable. It was sparkling clean. Franck made checking in easy, and spent time showing us where everything was located. The bakery on the corner had excellent croissants and we dined at a couple of the tiny bistros on rues Guisarde and Canettes. The double windows blocked all street noise, of which there is none during the day but plenty in the evening. It is a lively, charming neighborhood. Do not miss the Rimbaud poem on the wall on rue Ferou. We have stayed in several vrbo homes and this is one of the best. This is an old building; just take the stairs slowly. We are in our late 60s and had no problem. Highly recommended.

True Parisian Experience

  • 5 of 5

Maria's beautiful, cozy apartment gave my husband and me the opportunity to see what it is like to live like a Parisian, which we knew we could not get from a hotel. From the moment Franck, her property manager, met us at our taxi stop around the corner, and walked us onto the quaint street up to her historic building, we knew we made the right decision. Yes, the stairs can be a little bit of a challenge, but that only adds to the charm. The apartment was spic and span clean, the bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable, and it had a nice kitchenette, perfectly equipped so we were able to get up leisurely and have breakfast.

You can read about the fabulous location from the other reiviews, which I agree with wholeheartedly.

I did want to make special mention about Franck, who went above and beyond in helping to make our stay so wonderful. He even came to check us out and see us off 5:30 am on a Saturday morning- thanks Franck!

Wonderful place to see and live Paris

  • 5 of 5

In the fantastic arrondissement 6, this flat is on a unique and lovely little street. The living area is cozy yet spacious. The bed is amazingly comfortable. The host Maria Felice and site manager, Franck, are outstanding. I had maps and guides, coffee and a tea kettle, and a washing machine.. it was all I needed, although there is also a large cable tv and quite an array of books and videos. The week I stayed was the festival du ski on Rue Guisarde and it was absolutely magical, with snow, parades w/ torches and a marching band. The other tenants in the unit are very generous and sweet, when I left my gloves on the stairs one late night, I found them tucked neatly in my door the following morning. The shops, galeries and cafes nearby are all you could ask for, but the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and Royal Palais are all just a short walk away. The Marais is a tad further, but I managed to do it in 30minutes on several days and the walk is a beautiful one. I hope to stay here year after year. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or traveling on your own. I don't recommend for children or over 55+ as the stairs up are a bit too slippery.

Our own piece of Paris!

  • 5 of 5

This exquisite little apartment was all we could have asked for and more!! We spent two very comfortable weeks nestled in this adorable unit. The location for sight seeing was fantastic. It was within walking distance of most major attractions and within close proximity to many metro stations enabling you to see those located further away. We were spoilt with choices re many restaurants and coffee houses. The apartment was very comfortable and fully met our expectations. We hope to be able to stay there again on our return travels.
