Fantastic conversion of large detached Kentish Barn to a very high standard. This lovely light and airy property is set in the grounds of a beautiful listed Manor House c1400.

The ground floor boasts a large open planned lounge entrance and dining area with full height ceiling showing the fantastic oak beams that are throughout. The Large wood burning stove is nice on those cold winter evenings! A good size twin bedroom, a wet room with shower, feature basin and wc, a single bedroom with its own wc and basin, ideal for an elderly guest, plus a well equipped gallery style kitchen with breakfast bar makes up the ground floor.

At the top of the stairs is a great seating area for 2 with views to the garden. The well appointed Master double bedroom and a single bed in a void with privacy curtains creates a 4th sleeping area. This space is divided up by a 2 metre high double skinned wall with cupboards on the bedroom side and a library and old LP music collection and player on the outside.

Great Engeham Manor Barn is situated between the award winning, pretty, village of Wood church, Betherdsen to the North & the must visit town of Tenterden. Wood church is about 2 miles to the South and has a large village green surrounded on 2 sides with lovely period properties. Don't miss the cricket on the green in summer. There is a windmill and museum open most weekends from Easter. There a 2 pubs offering food, a general store and an excellent butchers who farms the products locally as well. Visit the S.E. of England's Rare Breeds Centre. Great for kids. Tenterden has a great choice of restaurants, tea rooms and shops. There are 2 supermarkets and a steam railway that goes through to the lovely Bodiam Castle. Well worth a trip with a picnic in hand. Nearby Ashford offers an International station for easy access to London or Paris. There is a large Designer Outlet shopping centre & a new high street as well. Great central location for visiting the many excellent attractions in Kent
