Fantastic stay! Frederique was an impeccable host. He answered questions quickly and even texted to check in on us. You cannot ask for a more perfect location. Just a few blocks from the Metro station and walking distances from several outstanding restaurants and patisseries. Would most def stay here again.
great location - spacious
nice clean unit - near metro and interesting neighborhood
Awesome place, great location
We loved the property. Perfect setup for 3-4 couples, everyone has their own shower and bathroom ( everyone knows the time saved when 4 people can get ready the same time to get out for the day). All of the origional 100 year old exposed brick really gave the place tons of warmth and character. Love to come back and stay again.
Fantastic home in a fantastic area! We would absolutely stay here again.
We had a great stay. The condo is beautiful, very spacious, great location close to shopping and the metro. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Excellent.
Location fantastic, furnishings etc excellent, host recommendations helpful and accurate, host very accomodating
Le Plateau Mont-Royal is the most popular place to stay in Montreal (as well as the downtonw and Old Town burrows which are adjacent). This is the place where you will find the most shops and cafés. There are tons of interesting "mom and pop" stores as well as your classics like Subway and Starbucks. Liquor stores and grocery stores are also right around the corner.
From the apartment, you will be able to reach Le Metro Mont-Royal within less than 5 min walk. This is one of the major subway hub in the city. Taking the subway (or as the locals call it "metro") is the easiest and cheapest way to get around Montreal to avoid traffic and parking tickets! Right in front of it is a small market, always a nice thing to check out.
Taxis are easily found in Montreal. In the apartment, you will find all the info you need to order a taxi. There is a phone you can use to do so.
Parking is tricky everywhere in the city. The signs are very confusing, even for the locals and people who have lived here for years. These signs are also in French so the best thing to do is to reserve one our our parking spots (based on availability) or to park in one of the long term areas ($10 to $15 per day) and to leave the car there for your entire stay. Since you can take the subway, taxi or walk everywhere, there is no need for your car.
