Why Countryliv-inn chose Arendahl
Country Liv Inn is a very private country home nestled in 'God's Country' just 8 miles north of Lanesboro, MN. . This renovated farmhouse is owned and operated by four siblings who grew up at the homestead that was once known as 'Eide's Dairy', as you will notice on the nearby barn. The farm has been in the family for 5 generations and is near and dear to us. Restoring our family home and now sharing it with you is our ultimate desire.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The serenity and simplicity of this cozy home is extended as one enjoys the outdoors of this farm setting. The patio includes outdoor seating and wood or charcoal grilling. The 3-acre spacious yard has a fire pit and plenty of room for yard games and camping.
Peaceful, Cozy, Country Livinn
We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The setting is so quiet and peaceful, it was a perfect get away from the city! The home was clean and decorated with charm. The owners were great to work with and with permission, let us stay longer than normal check out time. We'll be back for sure!
Cozy farm home. Quiet time with family.
Location quiet but not far off the beaten path. Easy to find and just a wonderful nostalgic time . The house was clean and well appointed- had everything we needed. Outside there was plenty of terrain to cover, walking pastures , hills and woods. Our little dog loves the country life! The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen well stocked - fun cooking in the big farm kitchen. Nearly overwhelmed at times with memories of growing up on a farm. Thought a lot about my parents and friends that I grew up with. Wished for warmer weather so we could have enjoyed the deck and fire pit, but so warm and comfortable inside. Close to Lanesboro and Rushford, so really pretty countryside drives.
Was so nice to meet Beth and Ryan and thankful to them for bringing us an extra key when we accidentally locked ourselves out!
Perfect spot for relaxing and reconnecting
My college student, myself, and our dog met up at Country Liv-Inn over his spring break, and it provided the perfect setting for unwinding and catching up. There was ample space, the atmosphere was cozy country, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the hosts let it be known that they were available if needed. We enjoyed exploring the property's large pasture, taking excursions to nearby towns and hiking, and encountering grazing deer and other wildlife. Highly recommended for a low-key, homey, and away-from-it-all few days.
Definitely a home away from home. Very well maintained. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Perfect getaway for a break. Leisurely, laid back living. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. House is tastefully furnished and well maintained. Home away from home is how I would best describe it.
Loved the Country Living!
Even if only for four short days, the peace and quiet of this property/farmhouse was a perfect get away. The house was very clean, cozy and warm. Owners were pleasant to work with...we will be back!
Charming home! What a beautiful and peaceful getaway for me, my husband, daughter and our dog too!
We originally chose Country Livin' due to its proximity to streams for fishing, as well as the Driftless Region's unusual rock formations and fossils. We also needed a place that would accept our dog. We ended having an amazing stay with fun fishing spots, great rock hunting locations, shopping in Lanesboro, and a chance to see trout trying to migrate up waterfalls to spawn. It was both fun and educational for all three of us. We will be back!
