Scenic Lake front cottage! Summer in Door County too good to miss!

Main floor bedroom had not been cleaned. Bed sheets covered with sand and lots of hair(dog hair)? We contacted owner immediately-didn't get a response during entire time we were there.

Our week at the cottage was amazing and too short. We are already planning to go back next year! Kay was so accommodating and shared tips for our stay. The cottage was just what we needed, as we didn't intend to be indoors except to sleep. We wanted to explore the peninsula and the beach. It was prefect!

Overall it was a pleasant trip. Cottage was nice! The lake was right there, beautiful beach. It was pretty much cold the whole time we were there. Had to use the heat most of the time. Ran out of gas last night. So that wasnt fun. Used fireplace but there wasnt enough wood

The cabin was what I expected. Small but comfortable. The bathroom is very small but worked out just fine. The beach was beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. Could have used a few more beach chairs and perhaps some beach games. We brought our adult children so bag toss would have been fun or rings.

Very cute little cabin. My wife and I brought our 2 kids 14, 9 with us. The shower smells like metal water but way better than smelling like well/egg smell water. Taking showers were ok. My kids had a blast. Waves on the lake were awesome. The fireplace just be careful due to not that good vent so the whole cabin will smell like a fire. The wall heater went out, I called in the morning and Kay called me back to let me know someone was coming to fix it. Very good on her part. I loved the views on driving around. All n all if you want to go away from the big/small city come here. Next time we will be going upper otherwise it'll take us about an hr or long. But it was well worth the money.
