Why Daniel chose Nayarit

The developer of Hacienda de Mita is a good friend. He gave me the option to buy this unit very early on the construction process.

I picked this one because is on building #3 (best located bld) and left side of the building , meaning much wider view angle. I like being beach front and on second floor so I don't have to use the elevator, but without sacrificing privacy (that ground floor units lack).

Our family did our first trip to PM February and had the most wonderful time. We had never heard of Punta Mita, but after reading more about it, realized it would be a great vacation destination for our family. We were looking for pure relaxation, great food and beautiful beaches. Punta Pita offers all of this and more.

We spent our time at the Residence Beach Club where there was something for everyone. They had a pool for the adults and a separate pool for children (plus a playground next to the pool!). The food was beyond delicious and the service impeccable. On many days, we never left---eating snacks, lunch and then finishing the day with a gourmet dinner in their fabulous beach side restaurant.

The condo was gorgeous, combining the best features of indoor/outdoor living. We looked out over the infinity pool, beautiful beaches and lots of surfers. Apparently, there is tennis and a gym, but we never made it there!

The owners are delightful (we shared a three hour lunch with them and their young son) and Paco, their property manager, was extremely helpful (even helping us find a local doctor).

We will return at our first opportunity!!

Relaxing vacation spot for families!

We’ve travelled all over the world, and this place is as good as it gets. We actually extended our stay while we were here, for a total of 3 weeks. And with 4 kids, it didn’t seem long at all. First, the views from 304 are lovely, sure there are some “protected” trees, but can’t stay any closer to the beach in Punta Mita. You’re on the 2nd floor, easy access to the parking garage/golf cart on 3 and the pool level on 1. What sets this place apart from other places is the attention to detail. The “concierge” Yessica is amazing. She formerly worked at the Four Seasons and is super connected with the service industry. From transportation (Angel) to in room massages (Evy & Klara) to chefs (Alejandro & Salvadore) trust her judgment – they are the best. No rip offs here, massages are $50.00, private cheffing $85.00. - totally reasonable for what you get. She even chartered a fishing boat for $200.00. The condo is tastefully done, and the best part is full time housekeeper/cook, Laura, super sweet. She makes awesome guacamole and a killer margarita. Waking up every day to hot breakfast was a treat, and she makes lunch daily, just let her know what time and lunch will be ready. Laura keeps the condo super clean, and the washing machine is going most of the day getting your laundry ready for the next day. What we really appreciated was her professionalism – non-intrusive and very respectful. For that we tipped her generously, she earned it. The pool is nice, although it gets warm/hot later in the afternoon/evening. The beach itself is very rocky. You’ll see surfers most of the day and wonder how they don’t kill themselves on all the rocks. The beach club has sand for kids play. Still, seeing the surfers all day long off your balcony is better than watching television! Also, there are 2 TV’s, a smaller flat screen in the master and a 40-inch in the living room. Bring a roku and hot spot to your iPhone with a vpn service (we used vpn unlimited - $4.99 for 5 phones/ipads, worked great) and you’re good to go. With 4 kids, having roku w/Amazon/Netflix was vital to our “nap time”. The owner provided 2 golf carts and we heard a new 6-seater golf cart was being delivered as we left. The golf cart is a lot of fun to take to the beach club, four seasons, st. regis and downtown. Downtown is outside the gate. Just before the hill there is a well-equipped market on the left side. They take credit cards and have everything. Highly recommend!

Just Perfect!!!

We have stayed in several other units in hacienda de mita in the past but this is by far our favorite.

The views are the best in hacienda de mita, the location could not be better and the service and amenities top notch, brand new 6 passengers golf cart, premier membership, etc.

Yessica’s (concierge) service was impeccable and having Laura everyday was a true luxury.

The decoration of the unit is also the nicest we have seen in hacienda de mita, we learned from Yessica that it was done by one of the interior designers that was part of the team that did the ID for the Four Seasons and it shows.

The amenities in Punta Mita are always improving, the kupuri beach club just opened a few months ago, what a great addition for Punta Mita.

We are already planning our next trip to this unit.

We have been to this place several times and it is great for our family. Laura the cook is fantastic and the house is very relaxing with great views. The restaurants in town are also great with amazing views and great food! Going back in one month!

Fall Break vacation

My family rented this property with another family for fall break. We loved Punta Mita and will definitely be back, but we would not stay here. The place was "ok" a little run down. We were supposed to have a housekeeper and cook. For some reason, they ended up being the same person so neither job was done very well. We never had enough food and when we would ask for more, she seemed annoyed. We also had picked out meals for breakfast and lunch beforehand, but pretty much were cooked the same thing every morning (our meal choices for breakfast were ignored) and again never enough. There were even times our husbands were golfing and we still didn't have enough food! The meals we did have were ok, but not great. Rarely were there sides and never a dessert. We were supposed to have 2 golf carts, but the bigger one was always broken down and we often had to wait around for a replacement. The concierge was nice, but would nickle and dime us for everything, maybe that is the way it is there! The location was good, but the beach was very rocky and couldn't really be used. We went to Kapuri Beach Club and that was awesome! We took a boat ride on Chicas Locas and which was also great, I highly recommend it! We were told we had to pay a premium to rent in October as this was supposed to be a "busy time". That could not have been further from the truth. It was totally empty; a perfect time of year to go to Punta Mita.

Owner's Response: Dear Jackie, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am sorry about the misunderstanding. Not sure where the idea of having a chef and a maid originated. Our listing on VRBO and our rental agreement clearly reads that the rate includes “Daily maid that cleans and cooks”. Our maid (Laura) is usually great at cleaning and cooking; I believe that having an extra large group as yours (we usually max it at 8 people) and having different lunch schedules in the group made it difficult for her to perform as expected (I wish you had told us about this during your stay so we could have sent someone to help her). We have taken note and will now have someone to help Laura 3 times a week when we have extra large groups with more than 8 people(like yours). Sorry about the golf cart, it’s a brand new top of the line golf cart, (such bad luck that it broke down during your stay and frustrating that it was something so simple as a loose cable). This Cart is working perfect again. We believe that the best solution to minimize the affect on the guest’s vacation is to replace it asap (even if it means waiting a little). I am glad that you liked the location of our unit and our new beach club “Kopuri”. Having access to different beach clubs within the development is one of the things that make Punta Mita so unique. Luxury Paradise

Spent a week in this beautiful home, and it feels like a home. A large home. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The environment is warm and welcoming. The concierge and housekeeper, Laura, make the experience seamless. Always clean. Always good food available, this was truly us spoiling ourselves after many years of work in the corporate world.

Interestingly, you can stay in the gates and enjoy the luxury resorts close to the unit, or walk a few hundred feet , exiting through a gate and into a very cool small town. Great restaurants. Highly recommend saying hi to " TinTan" when you go to Si Senor. Love this place, love taking walks on the system of paths, working out in the gym ( $15) and enjoying the simple beauty.

We have already booked for next year.

Second time staying in this condo

This is our third time to Punta Mita and the second time we stayed in this condo (our first trip we stayed at the St. Regis). This beachfront, 2nd floor, spacious condo is the perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Laura, the housekeeper, comes everyday to clean and prepare amazing breakfasts and lunches. Having her makes this a true vacation for this mom of three kids. The beach outside the condo is quite rocky as you enter the water, so bring surf shoes. We prefer sandy beaches to swim, body surf, and boogie board, so we head to the Kupuri Beach Club, or Sayulita which is 20 minutes by car from Punta Mita. The pool for the condo always has lounge chairs available. The owner is very responsive to VRBO requests and always checks in with you during your stay and after.

Owner's Response: I would just like to clarify for guests that are not familiar with Punta Mita, that Kopuri beach club with a perfect sandy beach is only 3 minutes away from the unit and also inside the gates of Punta Mita so easy to get by golf cart. Sayulita is in fact about 20 minutes away. Thank you very much Lori.
