Enjoyable stay for our family
This was the first time visiting Texas for our family of four. We spent the last 5 days of our vacation in Galveston this house. Bill, the owner was very kind and met us at the home as soon as we arrived and showed us around. He was very helpful with giving us ideas of places to visit and eat in the area. We ventured to Houston a couple days which really wasn't too long of a drive. The Seawall and beach were just a block away and easy to get to. We had expected access to a washer and dryer, but must have overlooked this during our search. We were able to wash and rinse some of our clothes in the deep kitchen sink and there was a clothes line in back to dry our clothes on, which worked fine. We also weren't completely prepared for mosquitos while sitting out back. So bring bug spray, regardless where you stay. We saw a few more cockroaches than we would have liked to indoors and did buy bug spray to take care of them as well.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this home for its comfort, decor, space and enormous amount of character. Their are window AC's throughout the home which kept it cool on the warm days we were there.
I like the beach house a lot it was fun and was next to the beach.
We had a blast at the beach house and had a funn time I would like to visit again sometime. Thank you for letting me stay here best choice ever🔥
Great location and really nice home!
This home was built in the 1920s and had a ton of character.
A wonderful choice
My family and I were very happy with this choice. Bill exceeded our expectations by a landslide. He really cares about people and wants them to have a great time! May God bless him!!!
It was so nice, the Owner let us in Friday afternoon and let's you be unless you need something. Such a nice guy that when we left he called us to make sure everything was ok and had wanted to tell us all goodbye. Definitely will be coming back in April
My family stayed a week there incuding kids and we absolutly loved the house. Bill is so kind and welcoming to his home. Its is perfect distance from everything and a walk way from the beach. I recomend this house it is perfect!
