About Sharon & Mark
I live near Vancouver in British Columbia, but have always loved Prince Edward Island, and it holds a special place in my heart. I am the owner / operator of two large group childcare centers in Chilliwack, BC
Sharon & Mark purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Sharon & Mark chose O'Leary
I fell in love with this property the moment I stepped foot on it, and nothing on PEI has all of the amazing benefits that this property has. From the beautiful beach, friendly local Islanders, peaceful distant wind turbines, to the amazing sunsets, it truly is an amazing peaceful location.

It was everything we expected and more. If you are looking for time to yourself and a great community type feel, this is the place. Everything was in good shape and very clean. The view second to none.
Can’t wait to go back!
My family and I loved everything about the cottage and the property! The almost private beach at our doorstep could not be beat! The cottage had all that we needed to be comfortable and we loved the layout of the cottage that gave everyone enough space to themselves and privacy! Mark and Sharon were communicative and thought of everything! We’ll be back for sure!
Best family summer vacation!
The Beach cottage was comfortable, clean, with a well equipped kitchen and all the comforts of home and amenities. Off the beaten track offering a very private, peaceful stay with stunning sunsets and ocean view.
This was our first time in Prince Edouard island and we absolutely loved it. We like the vacation that are off the beaten path. This was definitively one of our favorite vacation. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves. We had bond fires on the beach and each time we were lucky enough to enjoyed an amazing sunset at the same time.
The owner Mark was very responsive and very nice. The cottage was very clean and well stocked.
We enjoyed the local attractions: West point lighthouse, north point, the potato museum, ceilidh (local live music) and on a rainy afternoon we went to the potato museum. We also drove to the green gables. We were all very happy to come back to our quiet beach at the end of the day.
Even if we drove about 10 hours to get there we would definitively go back. Our kids wanted to move there! 😁
The view was amazing
It was peaceful, quiet and the beach was beautiful
Just what we were looking for!
Very relaxing getaway. Cottage was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed walking on the beach, sunsets, and even the moon setting over the water one morning. Gorgeous. Watching lobster boats head out to sea and seeing a bald eagle added to the experience. Owner (Sharon) was immediately responsive when we contacted her. We found PEI to be a charming place to visit, and hope to be back.
Our cottage sits above a small cliff, providing sweeping views of the ocean & your own private and secluded red sand beach. It has a large deck overlooking the beach, with seating to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets over the Gulf of St Lawrence.
The cottage grounds are 5 acres of cut grass, providing a large playing area for outdoor activities. Located on the very scenic Rt 14 coastal drive, you can enjoy amazing cycling and walking along this picturesque paved roadway. The cottage is a mere 5-10 minute drive from the famous West Point Lighthouse, and 15 minutes from the 18 hole Mill River Golf Course, and outdoor water-park.
The cottage is nestled by the distant West Cape wind farm, where the turbines around you calmly turn providing power to the island. Take a beautiful drive up the coast on RT 14 to the North Cape Wind Farm test facility.
During lobster season, the close by fishing harbor provides countless hours of watching lobster boats bringing in their catch, and an opportunity to buy some fresh lobster right from the source.
