The Four Seas is a beautiful two story home designed for beachfront living on St. Teresa Beach. The first floor includes three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, dining, living, screened porch, and shower directly accessible from outside and leading into a bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms, two baths, kitchenette, dining, living, and screened porch. The two floors are connected via a circular staircase inside and a staircase connecting the porches, all under roof and screened in.
The yard is grass and nicely landscaped with a stepping stone walk leading from the house to the beach. A patio under the shade of the trees is midway to the beach - perfect for those who want to enjoy the outside and see the beach, but don't want to be in the sun and sand on the beach.
My family has been coming to St. Teresa since the 1940's and I since I was born (sometime after that). It has been a cherished place for my entire family and I and now we would like you to enjoy it as well.
John Chason purchased this house in 2005
This property was purchased in 1946 by Thomas Chason and has remained in the Chason family ever since. The original house he built was replaced by a bigger house in 2005. This new house is designed to accommodate several family's at once with plenty of common space for large groups but private space for small groups/individuals to be separate.
Everyone who comes here says the porch swing with it's view of the water is the most relaxing place in the world!
We absolutely loved staying at this place. The owner is very kind and you can tell he really does everything to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. The beach is amazing We saw so much wildlife and there were dolphins jumping out of the water We have never seen that. The screened porches are so relaxing Our little boys loved playing for hours on them and as adults we could sit there on the swings watching them and have a beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the shower that was used to wash off all the sand and the fish cleaning station and the kayaks We used the kayaks every day. Mr. Chason really did think of everything. We will definitely be back. I think we have found our new favorite place
Our family vacation was spent at this beach house. The house was perfect. You could not ask for a more relaxing place to vacation for a week. The house is spacious and plenty of room for everybody to spread out and have their own space. We kayaked every morning and evening and dolphins were there almost everyday. John has thought of everything you need. We spent most days on the beach; however, the evening of the harvest moon, we had a fire in the fire pit and cooked s'mores. Kitchen is spacious enough that several people could be in there cooking with no problems. Fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy yourselves. Our time on the porch upstairs was relaxing. Grilled out several times. We will return next year.
We celebrated our anniversary with our two daughters and their families at this beach house the first week of August. The weather was good most of the week, so most of us were on the sand or in the water two times each day. Three families (5 adults, 6 kids below age 14) found this private, natural beach experience to be wonderful that week. The sand is very white; the water is not cold and it is shallow enough for children to play in. When the tide is out, all sorts of sea creatures are visible. Dolphins were usually seen around mid-day. We chose the house because of the 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. The family rooms upstairs and down were roomy, comfortably furnished and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen downstairs and the kitchenette upstairs provided plenty of workspace for different schedules. The cookware was ample as was the stock of spices and paper supplies. All appliances were in good working order, including the dishwasher and the washer and dryer downstairs. The screened-in porches on both levels provided a quiet get-away with a view for reading, meditation, and rest. Thoughtful amenities included a well-stocked toy room, 5 kayaks, a closed-in entrance shower, a closed-in fish cleaning station, several plastic beach chairs, and a fire pit. The owners gave us good directions to the house and greeted us upon arrival, providing both a tour and cookies! They take pride in offering a quality home away from home for their guests as well as their own families. The manager was helpful and responsive to our needs--though we really had none once we arrived. The house was as promised, and so was the service and the beach. A late afternoon on the beach with a blue Gulf backdrop provided us with multiple pleasant family photographs. We can see ourselves returning for another event down the road.
How do I start?
This is our 2nd year at the beach house. We will never go anywhere else!! It was a peaceful, family fun vacation. The house is top notched!! They have thought of everything to make your stay as close to being home as possible. The house is clean, the rooms are comfortable, the beach at your back door, sea life, low tide, and even saw the albino squirrel again this year. They even added more kayaks this year, which were hardly ever on the beach because we kayaked daily with the dolphins!!! We sat directly on the beach, kids played in the low tide, and we talked, read, or sun bathed each day into the evening!! I just can't explain how awesome this area is for us!! Our golfing guys got to play golf and loved the course that is close by. They have books and games for you to use.
The Chanson's did everything possible to accommodate our family, and they are wonderful to work with!! There was even fresh cookies waiting our arrival!!
We will be back next year!!
This house is awesome for a single family or a couple! Plenty of room, and set up perfectly. Comfy beds, kitchen is nice, beach is awesome! I loved the pier fishing. Kids loved the tide change. If you do not know this area.. the tide goes way out. Small waves, easy for small children and big folks to enjoy! My crew fished, found sand dollars and ate well. Beach is secluded and personal. I met 4 couples I would enjoy hanging out with! All in all, perfect vacation!! When can I go again!!
