Lovely 2-story apartment with great kitchen!

A group of 3 couples stayed in Pat's vacation apartment for 3 nights. We found it clean, and were enchanted with the view and the kitchen. Security is great, grocery store a block away, and the Hop On, Hop Off Busses...both the green company, and the red company were a hop, skip and a jump. If I had to do it over, I'd go with the green company....we did the red. The Jameson Distillery was very close to the apartment too. Pat met us at the apartment and wonderfully went over the details to help us have a good transition to his apartment. Pat stocks the bathroom medicine chests with shampoo, conditioner, lotion...anything you need will probably be there. We loved the modern and well-stocked kitchen. The washing machine also does the drying, so be careful to pull out your clothes sooner than later if you want to hang dry. The light rail was right next to the Hop On, Hop Off designated bus stop, so this apartment is walkable to city centre if you are a good walker. Taxi to and from city centre was less than 10 Euros, and best if it's raining. All-in-all we were perfectly delighted with Pat and our stay in this great apartment. I would not hesitate to stay there again while in Dublin!

Loved the location and space.

Took a cab from the airport, but walked everywhere from that point forward. We were right across from the Jameson Distillery- which turned out to be one of our favorite tours ( and tastings ). We walked to several churches we wanted to see ( the mummies at St Michaels ), Dublin Castle, the Guinness Brewery, and the Brazen Head ( oldest pub in Dublin? ). The rest of our stay in Ireland was highlighted with Guinness ( draft ) and Jameson and Ginger ( with a lime ). The tours were all great and our guides were the best. There is a pizzeria on the bottom floor of a nearby building, also a market- Caesar ( Not little Caesar ) makes a nice Pizza and we got Guinness and snacks at the market - we ( 6 of us ) played some late night card games at a good sized table at night - deciding on what the next day would bring. Had we done the Jameson tour on our first day I'm sure we would have stopped there every morning for the fantastic "Irish Coffee "

Spacious Apartment with a Central location on the North Side of the Liffey

Nice 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment. Complex has an elevator! Located in Smithfield Square, centrally located to restaurants, grocery story as well as the train. Jameson is directly across the square from the apartment too! The apartment is very clean and includes a washer/dryer combo. If you have the master bedroom, I’d recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper due to the restaurant/bar directly below, but that was a non issue. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend the apartment.

Excellent Dublin apartment

Pat took time to show us around the apartment and the best way to explore the city which was very useful. The apartment is spacious ,clean and attractively decorated. The location is excellent, with restaurants and pubs nearby and a very good food hall in an attractive pedestrianised square. You can get to the city centre easily by tram and it isn't too far to walk.

We really enjoyed our stay here.

Good thoughts not well developed

The apartment is a really attractive design with two storey high ceiling for living room and outlook onto square below. Two bedrooms have windows from the second level onto same view. Kitchen beautiful and well appointed. Dining room large and good for six adults. Nice sound system and lighting. Where this property fails is size of bedrooms two of which are very small and inadequacy of space to navigate within the bedrooms, especially if you have luggage for a longer stay. Getting to the apartment is a bit complex as taxis/cars may not have easy access to promenade. It's a short walk. District is busy and loud. Lots of action. Any open windows make you part of it. Good access to restaurants. Walking distance across river for downtown. Linens and pillows are very sub standard. Smokey smells in outside hallway
