Located in the easy going Holiday/Uptown neighborhood of North Boulder, this modern, upscale, fully and tastefully furnished, south and west-facing, 2 BR (+den with a comfy sleeper), 2BA end unit, 3rd floor condo is referred to as The Penthouse at The Crescent. It's all windows - tons of sun! - featuring gorgeous, sweeping views of the Flatirons and foothills, the condo is newly furnished and tastefully decorated. The huge 330 square foot, top-floor deck (very hard to find in Boulder) with gas grill provides a 270º view and is just right for great entertaining. Maple cabinets and flooring, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, nice walk-in custom closet in the master bedroom, study/TV room (with 46'LED smart TV). Plenty of free, safe parking on the street, but no garage included. High speed fiber optic wireless internet makes it easy to work from home. Walk through the park across the street to 5 excellent restaurants, a great coffee shop, fun brewery, bakery and a gym. The market, with an amazing pastry shop, is one mile away. Biking trails right our your door. Pearl Street Mall is an easy 7 minute drive, simple bus ride, or a $10 cab ride. 30 minutes from Denver, 45 minutes from Denver International Airport. Rocky Mountain National Park is only an hour away. Summit ski areas (Breckenridge, Copper, A-Basin) are 1-1/2 hours away, Vail/Beaver Creek and Winter Park are less than a 2 hour drive.
Simple to maintain, totally comfortable. Quiet, but close to everything Boulder has to offer. If you don't need to be on Pearl Street, this is the perfect alternative.

We've always wanted to live in Colorado and we love Boulder. We own a business in Minneapolis and recently became empty nesters, meaning we can now spend more time in Colorado. So we spend time at our Twin Cities home, our northern Minnesota cabin and in Boulder. We're sort of addicted to beautiful surroundings, cool outdoor activities and great restaurants which is why we snapped this condo up as soon as we saw it.

At first we thought we wanted to live right near Pearl Street. Most people do. But then we saw this great neighborhood in North Boulder. And the instant we stepped into the condo we were hit by all the light and were swept up by the impressive views of the Flatirons and foothills. We love waking up to the mountain views and finishing the day on the big deck watching mind-blowing sunsets. It's a happy place to live. It was great fun decorating and furnishing it. Sheryl's a master with color. It's cool being able to walk to upscale Italian, American, Mexican restaurants and coffee shops. Not to mention Proto Pizza. Mmmmm. And the hiking, biking, and skiing? World class, and right out the door or just a short drive away.
We have the best of all worlds: A quiet neighborhood with tree-lined sidewalks, but only 6 minutes from cool, vibrant downtown Boulder, 30 minutes or so from Denver, an easy 45 minute drive to DIA airport, and at the doorstep of some of the best downhill and cross-country skiing in the world. If you like music, the magical Red Rocks Amphitheater is less than 30 minutes away. We're looking for someone to rent our place and share our love of all it has to offer.
My husband and I spent a month in Boulder and stayed at Tom & Sheryl's condo. There's only one downside to this condo - but first the many wonderful things! The condo is beautiful - the pictures really don't do it justice. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked, and offers amazing views from both inside and out. The 270 degree views of the foothills from the deck are spectacular, particularly in the evenings. We enjoyed watching the paragliders over the foothills from the den/kitchen/dining areas. We always enjoy spending time in Boulder and hiking in the area. The location of the condo is convenient not only to Boulder and adjoining towns, but is perfect for easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our favorite restaurant in the area is Morning Glory Cafe in Lafayette (about 8 miles away). Fantastic breaksfasts (wonderful gluten free blueberry pancakes that even my husband loved), great salads & sandwiches for lunch and nice outdoor patio. Tom and Sheryl were out of the country during our stay, but made sure we knew how to contact them if we had any questions. As mentioned earlier, there is only one downside to the condo and that is the mattress in the master bedroom. We were surprised that such a nice condo had a mattress with deep sags on each side and a hump in the middle. We ended up buying foam mattress pads to make it tolerable and spent some nights in the second bedroom. With a new mattress, this would be a 5 star home away from home that we would definitely return to and recommend to our friends!
We just returned from a delightful month in Boulder, Colorado during which we headquartered at this beautiful condo on Holiday Drive. We felt at home from the moment we walked in and when we left a month later we actually felt sad. Others have reviewed the condo itself -- and it's all true: it is lovely, sophisticated, immaculate, and stocked with anything and everything you might need. The location was perfect because it is in the midst of a quiet, established neighborhood and only a couple of short blocks to the bus stop. We bought a monthly bus pass when we arrived and used it often, leaving our car behind. It is a short bus ride to the North Boulder Recreation Center where they offer an indoor pool and a well-appointed gym -- we bought a monthly pass there, too. Lucky's Market is just down the street (5 minute bus ride) and the iconic Pearl Street Mall is just over the hill. It was summer, so we took our blanket down to the park across the street to watch free outdoor movies every Saturday night, and coming home was simply a short elevator ride up to the third floor. Having a full-size washer and dryer in the condo was a special plus and we used it every week. Full home entertainment options even included an Apple TV (we just entered our own password). In addition to the comfortable beds, large and well-stocked bathrooms and large walk-in closet, we particularly enjoyed the enormous third-floor deck with its stunning views of Flagstaff Mountain (and a perfect view of the July 4 fireworks at Folsom Field.) We took several walks/hikes in the open space parks nearby (3 blocks away) and only used the car when we wanted to do hikes farther away. We never needed Tom & Sheryl, but they made it clear that they were available to help with anything at any time which was very reassuring. I can't say we were surprised at how much we liked this condo because we spend considerable time shopping on-line ahead of time and as soon as we discovered this place we were sure it was exactly what we wanted. It was our 10th VRBO rental, by the way, including international as well as domestic locations, and certainly one of our all-time favorites. It would never occur to stay anywhere else on our future trips to Boulder! Our only disappointment was not being able to meet Tom and Sheryl to thank them in person.

Its open floor plan and sophisticated yet casual décor are first-rate. Unique touches such as breathtaking photographs and paintings, and artifacts from around the world provide a cosmopolitan flourish, while comfy leather and suede furniture, sleep-inducing mattresses, and a spacious deck with views of the sunrise and the sunset offer comfort and serenity….Overlooking the foothills and The Flatirons, with a pleasant green space just a few steps from the door, the condo is just five minutes from urban excitement or mountain adventure. We took full advantage of close-by hiking and biking trails, cafes, and restaurants….The condo is well-stocked with appliances, dishes, linens, entertainment options, and miscellaneous supplies. We instantly felt right at home. Tom and Sheryl were immediately responsive to our very few questions. We were thrilled with every aspect of this condo...the decor, the layout, the accessories, and of course the location. It made for a wonderful month in Boulder!
My wife and I decided to take a month off to start my retirement. We love Colorado and decided that Boulder would be a great place to visit. Not only were we right about Boulder, more on that later, but the Condo on Holiday Drive was magnificent beyond our expectations. Not only is it ample in size, but it is impeccably kept and beautifully furnished. Every detail from the linens, to the kitchenware and silverware and dishes, to the appliances, art, and more make this a very special place. Perhaps the most stunning aspect is the incredible Veranda that is situated on an east/west vantage point, so you can see the sunrise and the sunset each day. We spent many hours just sitting outside watching the changing sky in all directions and how the sun worked its beauty in the mountain views.
Tom and Sheryl are gracious owners. Any issue (and we did not have many) was addressed immediately and the month sped by very quickly. They gave us a number of things to do, see and visit - and eat. We checked into a lot of the places they recommended and we were thrilled. Check out Brainerd Lake!
Boulder is a great place to visit - and we actually felt like we were living here. We got to know a number of folks in Boulder and learned about wonderful places to visit, to walk and hike, to eat, and play. We engaged in a lot of Colorado music and lots of other activities in and around Boulder. We went up to see beautiful mountains and expansive views. It could not have been more restful and invigorating at the same time.
So, if you are looking for a place to rent in Boulder you can't go wrong with this Condo. One more hidden gem - the condo has 2 bedrooms, but it also has a very nice den tucked away in the corner around from the kitchen. The pictures don't do this room justice. It has an outstanding flatscreen TV and all of the accoutrements. I spent a lot of time on my computer in this space, which provided me some quiet space and the same for my wife as well. With the Veranda, it's like having 3 living areas.
We plan on returning soon.
In some thirty years of retirement traveling we've never had a better vacation condo experience. This penthouse condo had everything that we could ask for in terms of comfort,cleanliness,quietness,decor and good parking.Each morning and evening we enjoyed the large private balcony with comfortable seating and great views. The owners were helpful in every way and always prompt to answer questions. Our entire condo experience was five star!
Top notch condo, great location in an upscale, new neighborhood. beautifully decorated and furnished, premier location in the complex. Possibly the nicest views in Boulder and a killer deck that expands the already spacious condo footprint. Owners have stocked the condo to meet every possible need. Quiet, private, secure unit and building. Would stay again without hesitation.
Located in the unique North Boulder Holiday neighborhood with a park across the street, you're 2 blocks (an easy walk) from 5 superb restaurants, a brewery, great coffee shop, gym, world class road and mountain biking, an incredible array of fantastic hikes (right at the edge of town or up in the mountains), 6 minutes from Pearl Street downtown and awesome restaurants/shopping. The Bus line is 2 blocks away and is a direct shot to downtown, taxis are only $10 to downtown. You're 45 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, 1/2 hour from the Peak-to-Peak Highway, 1-1/2 hours from Copper, Breckenridge, Keystone, A Basin, Loveland, and 2 hours from Vail/Beaver Creek, and Winter Park. There simply isn't enough time to see everything and sample all the great restaurants! It's almost always sunny and dry so it's easy to get out.
