Situated in Nell Gwynn House, an attractive art deco building on Sloane Avenue, between the shops of Kings Road and the museums of South Kensington, the apartment is finished to a very high standard, providing a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with 24 hour porterage & your own kitchen area if you ever tire of the endless supply of excellent local restaurants.

Ideal for two, but a comfortable sofa bed provides an extra bed. It's light, airy, and a perfect place to base yourself for a business or holiday visit.

The apartment is situated on the fourth floor (with lifts) and benefits from double aspect windows and double glazing and very pleasant views, making it a sunny and pleasant place to stay.

About Tessa Tennant

I've lived in wonderful London all my adult life, but have now

moved to the South Coast of England, looking across the River,

and the Isle of Wight ferry. I still have lots of friends in London so use the apartment at Nell Gwynn House when it is occasionally not booked as my London bolt hole. I just love being there - the location, the peace, the lovely porters, and all the great feedback I get from guests staying there. The biggest compliment is how many people come back again and again and now call the apartment their 'London' home.

Its not unique, there are lots of flats and studios rented out in the block, but my apartment is a home as well as a rental property and

Perfect spot in Chelsea

I used to live in this neighborhood so I knew it was where I wanted to be, but couldn't have known how perfect the flat is, too! It's very well-appointed, quiet and has a lovely view over Sloane Avenue and St. Luke's Church in the background. The building staff are lovely, pleasant & helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Good Stay in London

The London apartment is located in a nice, safe neighborhood. The apartment is small and perfect for a couple but a bit tight for three. We had our sister-in-law with us (unplanned) but it worked out. A non-family member might be different! The apartment is well appointed; however, I could never figure out how to blow dry my hair since the outlets were limited (none in the bathroom) and not located near a mirror. So my hair air dried. Since the apartment is small, the glass coffee table and glass breakfast table were a bit nerve racking. While glass looks nice, it is rather impractical when the floor space is limited and you have to move the glass tables to make up the hide-a-bed every night. They are heavy and fragile. The location of the apartment is about .5 miles from either tube stop (So. Kensington or Sloane St). The Sainsbury and few cafes across the street are great additions. Yes, I would recommend this apartment for a couple visiting London.

Home A Way

My daughter and I stayed at this property for one week in July, 2016. The property presents very nicely, clean and tidy, everything in working order. There is a separate bathroom and bedroom with combined kitchen/dining/lounge which is quite adequate. It was pleasant to come home to after a busy day out. The location is another bonus to this property with transport, restaurants and shopping all close by. I look forward to my next stay.

Great apartment and location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The photos don't do justice to the place. Although it is advertised as small, it feels very comfortable. Tessa has thought of everything. We highly recommend the place.

Lovely unit

My sister & I recently stayed in this property and would gladly stay again. Bus stop and supermarket across the road, the tube not far away. The unit is well appointed, airy and comfy with 24 hour concierge which was a good security feature. Having our own washer/dryer was a godsend after being on a 3 week tour. The unit is well appointed and the extras like tea & coffee supplies/ bathroom products were appreciated. Tessa was wonderful to deal with and couldn't be more helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Cozy and Close to Everything

This is a charming flat located in an Art Deco building in a very safe part of London. Short walk to 2 tube stops, Starbucks and a Sainsbury's Local across the street. The kitchen is fully functional and easy to make any meals you choose to eat in. (Sainsbury's has great fresh croissants for less than a pound each and Tessa provides fresh coffee for the French press in the cupboard.) Lots of cafés and some good pubs nearby too. Terrific shopping at the boutiques on Sloane Avenue and King's Road and Stella MCartney's boutique is just a couple blocks away. The Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are a short walk as well. Added to the already good mix is Tessa who is very responsive to her tenants. Highly recommend this flat.

Nell Gwynn House is just a few minutes walk from both South Kensington and Sloane Square Tube Stations, near all the tempting shops and restaurants of Knightsbridge ( Harrods), Sloane Street and the ever popular and cosmopolitan Kings Road, Walking distance to all the major museums (Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert) and just a short train or bus journey (or a good walk) to the Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and many other attractions this wonderful City of London offers its visitors.

Other Activities: Theatres and cinemas, restaurants, museums, local Saturday international food market, sightseeing & shop till you drop - the location is FANTASTIC!
