Mark and Allie met while we were both living in Mill Valley, California and moved up to their vineyard property in 2007. We have two children and make Pinot Noir. Mark grew up in Palo Alto and Allie hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Mark Ketcham purchased this estate in 2000
The Russian River appellation produces the world's best Pinot Noir. We grow our own grapes here on property and produce 1200 cases of premium Pinot Noir annually.
This home sits on top of a hill side with spectacular views of our vineyards and Eastside Road neighbors. We are close to town yet secluded enough to feel very private.
Thank you for the wonderful stay. We had a great time riding our bikes 50 plus miles each day.
Great open floor plan, very quiet. Pleasant 10 minute drive to village square in Healdsburg, 101 even closer. Renee is very helpful and available for suggestions to optimize your visit. Great VRBO experience, highly recommend.
This was our second time at Ketcham Estate Guest house, and we truly enjoyed it again - so much so, we shared the info with several friends who will likely also enjoy this beautiful gem overlooking vineyard's and hillsides. It is wonderful to walk in the vineyard, or to take a short drive to Healdsburg with exceptional food and boutiques, or go visit wineries nearby. Such a wonderful piece of paradise. The guest house is well appointed with quality furnishings and materials, and is very restful. The owners will offer a tasting of their wines if you are interested - we did it this time as well a d last, and enjoyed the wines enough to buy a few pint noirs and viogniers that we enjoyed. We really enjoyed ourselves, again, and can't wait to return! Thank you for a lovely time.
My husband and I visit Healdsburg at least once a year. This year, we chose to repeat a trip we took a couple of years ago which had us flying in during the Christmas holiday. It's an awesome time of year to visit as the wineries are quieter which usually means lots of time to ask questions while sipping on your wine! Mark and his wife were amazing hosts -- they welcomed us right in as if we were part of the family. The private wine tasting at their house was delicious and lengthy and wonderful, full of Mark's stories from over the years. The guest cottage is so cozy and inviting, super clean and in a PRIME location -- not even 10 mins to the square, very near the grocery store in Windsor that just opened (Oliver's, definitely check it out!), and around the corner from awesome wineries galore! It's also a very walkable area which we enjoyed in the early mornings. We will absolutely stay here again in the future and highly, highly recommend it!! Thanks again Mark and Aly!!
My wife and I visit Healdsburg almost every fall season and we have stayed in a lot of the lodging in and around the plaza, but this time we chose to stay out of town at the Ketcham Estate Vineyard Guesthouse and 'what a treat for us'. This is an awesome guesthouse beautifully decorated, very clean, has a full kitchen, very spacious with a great view of their vineyard. For us it was a just perfect!
Had a wonderful stay in the Ketcham Estate guesthouse. The accommodation was fabulous and well appointed with brilliant views of the vineyard. We could not have been made more welcome by Mark. The private wine tasting was really enjoyable, informative and fun. I'm not a red wine person but the Ketcham Pinot Noir has converted me so thank you Mark for educating me!! The town of Healdsburg is just a short drive away, with its lovely shops and restaurants. I just wish we had planned for a longer stay in the Sonoma area.
Fabulous family accommodation in a stunning vineyard setting and only a 5/6 minute drive from the wonderful wine/food town of Healdsburg.
Mark was a fantastic and very welcoming host (but not at all intrusive) and we could not have been made more welcome. Renee and the Estate staff were extremely friendly & helpful whilst investigating the vineyard.
We had a tasting of his wonderful Pinot Noir, which was a real treat – he also makes Viognier.
The accommodation would suit one family or two couples and is beautifully furnished is very well appointed.
I would also strongly recommend Healdsburg as a highly attractive and authentic wine town – we thought about Sonoma and other places, but Healdsburg stood out and lived up to the billing. A great holiday - thank you.

This guest house sits on the 17.5 acre vineyards of Ketcham Estate. We are walking distance from J & Rodney Strong wineries & we are a short drive to all Russian River Valley wineries. The Healdsburg Plaza is only a five minutes drive away.
In Healdsburg you will find world-class dining, chic shopping, antiques, farmers markets (Tuesday & Saturday), theater, and Tuesday night concerts on the Square. Healdsburg is a family-orientated town with a local baseball team, a Memorial Day Weekend parade & fair, Fourth of July Fireworks, loads of outdoor activities, and of course wine tasting.
We are also a five minute drive from the town of Windsor which has two weekly farmer's markets & free summer concerts of Thursday nights.
About 10 miles south is the town of Santa Rosa which hosts Safari West and The Charles Schulz Museum. The Sonoma County Airport (with bus service to SFO & OAK) is only ten minutes away.
We are about an hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
