About Rosalynn "Rosie" Sorensen
RN at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Grew up in Wisconsin on a dairy farm with 7 siblings, I can to get along with just about anyone! I love cheese :)Very spontaneous, bubbly, full of energy, sarcasm and wittiness, like to meet new people and see new places. I love doing home improvement a bit of a Martha Stewart/Bob Vila in I don't have Martha's felony convictions and Bob Vila's penis. I love roadtrips, gardening, home improvement projects, fixing things that are broken (humans and machines) working with powertools, zombie and any sort of end-of-the-world/Apocalypse movies. Lately been addicted to watching TED talks and listening to NPR and a podcast 'How To Do Everything'. I might be a nerd? Personal philosophy: Life is busy living or get busy dying. Yes that is a quote from 'Shawshank Redemption.' I am a nurse and see how short life is everyday I work.
Rosalynn "Rosie" Sorensen purchased this Farmhouse in 2013
Why Rosalynn "Rosie" Sorensen chose Pine Island
If you want to get away from busy city is the place for you! I have a 3 bed/2 bath house in Pine Island with 2 unused bedrooms (12' x 20') and full bath on the upper level that I would like see used and make extra $ to fund various projects I'm doing with the house. I have one cat(inside) and two dog (outside). The house is just off 52 out in the country between Oronoco and Pine Island (I have 30 acres). The other room upstairs is also open to stay in. The bathroom upstairs would be shared with whoever is staying in the other spare bedroom Zumbro River runs thru property, Douglas Bike trail nearby
What makes this Farmhouse unique
My little slice of heaven with nature all around. Zumbro River runs thru. Privacy and seclusion and two of the nicest dogs and cat you'll ever meet Two of the nicest dogs to a human, Kody and Daisy. In there past owners lives they both were hunting may see the occasional 'catch' of a squirrel, rabbit, raccoon etc they are using their hunting skills on. I am dreading the day they encounter a porcupine :-/
outside only. No smoking inside the house

Our host Rosie, is the best!! The location livestock and other animals was the perfect addition.
Nice affordable stay
Rosie is great host, very accommodating, and friendly. We stayed two nights. It's just like being at home, nothing fancy, just a comfy place with lots of outdoor areas to explore. If you like the country setting with horses and goats and dogs and cats this is for you. We forgot our fishing equipment but there is beautiful river running through the property.
Simple accommodations, great hostess
Our stay was nothing short of lovely. Rosie is a great hostess, and has a super chill environment. It's not The Ritz, but clean sheets and comfy beds and everything you could need! Dogs are great, kitchen is stocked and we are grateful to have spent some time here. Thanks, Rosie!
Rosie was a great hostess. She was on vacation herself for the Labor Day holiday so we had the run of the house. Rose told us to help ourselves to anything in the fridge and stayed in contact with us while there. Our bedrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Rosie has worked hard on her remodel of this farm home and is doing quality work. It was fun to see her artistic, creative work. If you don't want to deal directly with her animals then make sure she is there when you are there. We did put goats back in that kept getting out and her dogs and cat shared the house with us. They were very sweet and affectionate.
Rosie had very clear directions written for us to know where everything was and anything we needed to know about her animals.
Pretty quiet & had all the essentials.
The owner is nice and very accommodating.
Enjoying my stay
