Small appliances include a toaster oven, a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. After you have brewed your morning coffee, simply take a stroll through the French doors into the courtyard to sip your coffee and listen to the sounds of morning in New Orleans, which might include the horn of a paddle-wheeler making its way down the Mississippi a few blocks away!
And while you are in the courtyard, you might as well enjoy all of the amenities offered, sit around the fountain or just relax on the outdoor furniture. It is so comfortable that you might not want to leave!

We fell in love with New Orleans and particularly the Marigny area after my husband's work brought us here. We purchased this lovely home a couple of years ago to enjoy as a second home for guests and family. We now live in New Orleans permanently just a few blocks away from La Maison Scott, so when are guest require assistance we are always available. We established La Maison Scott in hope to share our lovely get away with our guests.

Such a fun getaway!
We stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed ourselves. The house is so cool and comfortable. Great location (not for the faint of heart- but this is New Orleans!), comfy beds, great recommendations. The house cleaner did not show up so the house wasn’t put together when we arrived but Suzanne and her gf came right in and got it in working order! Only wish we could have checked in earlier! Thanks for the wonderful memories!
Great place to stay
We stayed for Mardi Gras 2018. It was prefect. Loved the house.
Was everything advertised and more. Beautiful space and great location
You'll LOVE this house!
We loved staying in this beautiful home, and felt very comfortable. It was very clean, and the towels and bedding were outstanding. We thought the location was very conveniently located to the French Quarter, and we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go. We did drive to the Garden District, and to visit some friends in nearby Metaire, and to the World War II Museum, but that was it.
I'm giving this property five stars, but would suggest that safety bars be installed in the showers, and possibly some shower mats, especially in the downstairs master bath, which was very slippery. Also, we didn't realize there were two thermostats in the house. Even though the upstairs thermostat is pretty near the bedroom door, we didn't notice it until our third night there, and we were very cold. It's no wonder, because when we did notice the thermostat, it was set on 62 degrees. After we adjusted it, we were perfectly comfortable for the remainder of our stay. We had some pretty chilly nights.
We would highly recommend this property. Suzanne was very responsive to all of my text messages, which we appreciated.

Stay here! Best spot in NOLA
This is a gorgeous house in a perfect location! One block from the street car, steps from a wonderful, new grocery store (Robert) and a very short walk away from St. Roch Market (a very cool food court), and close by Walgreens. Oh, did I mention it's only 2 blocks from Frenchman Street?
The back courtyard is a great place to hang out all day and evening with lots of comfy chairs. The bedrooms and all living areas are beautifully decorated and comfortable.
We had a great few days in NOLA prior to a cruise and this house made our visit stellar
Serene Retreat in a "Happening" City
This is a well-maintained, beautifully decorated and appointed property and has everything one could need for a most pleasant vacation. It is in easy walking distance to attractions in the French Quarter. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood is Robert’s Fresh Market which, along with Walgreen’s, is within a three minute walk from the house. Suzanne was friendly, prompt and responsive to our few questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone interested in a delightful time in New Orleans
La Maison Scott is located just a few blocks from the famous French Quarter, Frenchman St,known for it's Jazz, Cafe's and Bars, and of course the French Quarter Market. Just a few of our favorite venues for Jazz includes The Spotted Cat, the DBA, Three Muses, The BMC. If you are in the mood for some NAWLIN'S dishes try ADOLFO'S or COOP's.. We are a bike ride aways from the famous cemeteries, Jackson Square, City park, Louis Armstrong Park, Riverwalk shops.
