comfortable and quiet

  • 4 of 5

Three of us stayed over Christmas and enjoyed the house. The TV and DVD player was too complicated for us to use - clearer brief instructions need to be available. We had no tech-savvy teenager with us! A good fish restaurant in the town, lively Catholic church and pleasant countryside.

Owners couldn't be more helpful and house was just as described

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful holiday experience at this property. We were welcomed on site by the owner and given every assistance as we needed it. The property is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the sea (longer with children) & the village is charming.

A good spot for a holiday with dogs

  • 5 of 5

The house is an end of terrace with a back garden which is completely secure with high fences, so great for a holiday with dogs. You can enter through the back gate -useful with muddy dogs -and there is an outside tap. There is a lovely area for dog walking, where your dog can go off lead, just a couple of minutes walk from the house. This takes you through woodland, alongside a stream. If you walk far enough you come to a common and then out to a road leading to the cliff top. The beach is open to dogs and there are several car parks (all charge) as well as cliff top walks.

The house is well-equipped with plenty of soft seating as well as a dining room table and chairs. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is clean and has an efficient shower. There is also a handy downstairs loo.

We enjoyed our stay.
