About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. UNBEARABLE ROOF NOISE - Before Renting This Unit, Please Read!
My family stayed in this unit in February 2018 as we enjoy visiting the coast on the off season. Knowing weather is typically not that great, we weren't worried about the ever-present rain. Upon arrival, we loved the beautiful views this unit had to offer. And the direct access to the beach would certainly be very convenient had the weather been nice. However, fast forward to later that evening, and all hell became apparent. That night, around 1am, my husband and I were awakened by an amazingly loud metal banging noise. In a half-asleep/half-awake state of mind, it sounded like someone was trying to break in. Low and behold, we realized the noise was coming from the roof directly above the master bath/bedroom. If I could attach an audio file, I would gladly share that to emphasize the immense noise we endured. The wind had picked up that night and was gusting pretty good (again, we don't mind crappy beach weather), resulting in some improperly installed roof covering to whip around, banging metal pipes/objects against each other. Needless-to-say, my husband and I got zero sleep that night, and am thankful we brought a white noise machine for my 2yr old son which helped to drown out enough of the racket so he could get some sleep. In addition to the ridiculous roof noise, the gusting wind was blowing straight into the main living area through the front door due to very poor sealing or placement of the weathering strip. A wall of wind could very readily be felt and we couldn't get the main living area above 65 degrees the entire time we were there. We had booked the entire weekend, but left early the next day (leaving in less than 24hrs of arrival) as we could not endure another sleepless night in this unit. When we notified the rental management company, we were informed that the building owner had been made aware of the problem but claims roof repairs cannot be performed. (I call bullshit.) Regardless, we were not reimbursed for our unused night's stay and will not book any other units through VRBO that uses Vacasa as there management company again. PLEASE BE FOREWARNED, if you like sleep, DO NOT book this unit despite the gorgeous views. It's a rare day that the Oregon coast doesn't have windy weather, so either this unit needs to come with a disclaimer of such horrible roof noise, or the price needs to be drastically reduced. Even so, I still wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. There are other beautiful beach front units to choose from.
We are very sorry for any discomfort this guest experienced. We were unable to send anybody to the roof to address this during this reservation because of the high winds. Now that the weather is more favorable, we are working on a solution. We checked the door and found it to be working fine and believe our guest must not have been pulling it completely shut. Thank you!
Awesome beach view condo!
This place has it all! But even if it didn’t, the view would still get a five star rating! Very nicely done unit, well stocked with all essentials; our favorite of all places we’ve rented on the coast. We will return to this one. Comfy beds, well supplied kitchen, amazing beach.
Stunning view, beautiful unit
I was absolutely blown away by this. The view alone is breathtaking, but the unit itself is beautifully finished and nicely maintained. The furniture is pretty new and very comfortable. The huge TV with DirecTV is a nice touch. One maintenance issue: There is some water damage with some mold on the master bathroom ceiling that needs to be addressed. The exterior of the building could also use a de-cobwebbing. That said, I would not hesitate to stay here again and again.
We do regularly remove cobwebs on the exterior of this building, but they build up so quickly we have a hard time keeping up at times. The bathroom has been fixed. Thank you!

There was a VERY loud noise on the roof the last day of our stay. It was windy that day and I think something was loose on the roof causing the banging noise. It sounded like there was construction being done on the roof which kept us awake ALL NIGHT. The first 2 windless nights were quiet and peaceful. There was also some black mold in the shower in one of the bathrooms which was concerning, fortunately we only used one of the bedrooms and bathrooms while we were there.
The noise on the roof has been addressed, and the mold has been removed. We apologize for these issues.
The views of the ocean and beach from the living area are wonderful! And the icing on the cake was instant access to the beach for walks. We (2 couples) spent four nights in unit #203. The unit is on the top floor, with no elevator, which we knew ahead of time, so we packed accordingly. Ground floor is parking which is nice if it is raining as you will stay dry unloading your vehicles. Great kitchen, well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, but no spices, cooking oil, salt and pepper. Be sure to bring your own. Beds were very comfortable.
This is our second time staying at this apartment. It’s the perfect place for a beach get away. Rockaway has a few charming restaurants and stores. The Coastal train ride gives a wonderful few view to enjoy for adults and Harry Potter like experience for the kids.
The apartment has two bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows that are both new and elegantly presented. The bathrooms are well supplied and modern. The kitchen has a wonderful view of the ocean while whipping up meal in a well stocked kitchen. Saving the best for last, is the dining room and living room where we enjoyed meals, board games, reading, nd watching tv, while having a gorgeous view in the background of ocean waves. I definitely will come back again!
