Also has a Tiki Hut that is great for having picnics. Exercise Equipment downstairs where you can overlook the pool and the bay. Located less than 2 miles from Flora Bama and The Wharf. Great restaurants and Shopping located at San Roc Cay which is walking distance from The Pass. No boat slip available with this unit.
This is our home away from home and we hope that our future renters will enjoy it as much as we do! That is why we kindly ask that you do not smoke in our condo or bring in any animals. If we suspect that either of the two have occurred, you will lose your security deposit.
This condo is rented a week at time starting on a Sunday and leaving on a Sunday. Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and checkout is at 10:00 a.m. A $300 security deposit is due to book your vacation and the remainder is due at least 2 weeks before your arrival unless you want to pay in full. When paying for the condo, please mail a check to 905 CR 31 Heidelberg, MS 39439 and make the check payable to Denise Barker. Please include an email address with your payment and we will send you a confimation email letting you know we recieved the payment and we will also give you the code for the lock box to get into the condo. The condo is #311.
We have been coming to Orange Beach for 15 years, sometimes twice a year and occasionally 3 times. We have stayed at many of the condos, mostly beachside in the past, but occasionally across the street. My daughter and her family have come with us at least a dozen times, this year in the pool she said this was by far the best condo/unit we had ever stayed, and we have stayed at some nice ones, but this location, the view was so much better than just looking at miles of only beach, the surrounding balcony was awesome, always a breeze, so many windows in the unit, the unit has so much room, we all had space. First condo I've ever felt like I could actually "live in" year round. The pictures don't do it justice:-) Denise, the owner, was a pleasure from beginning to end. The Pass is a condo you really should experience and this unit will exceed your expectations!
We found that the space, furnishings, privacy and amenities in this condo were perfect for our family of six and two friends of my grandson. Everything needed in the way of technology (TVs, DVDs, Wi-Fi), appliances and utensils was provided. We only had to replenish supplies of tissue, paper towels and laundry soap. The unit was clean and well maintained.
The location made it convenient for nearby fishing in the Gulf, the beaches, the docks and the bayou. The three boys fished every day, rain or shine, although they always threw the catch back in the water and never brought any back to the condo. We all enjoyed eating seafood almost every day at nearby places, and highly recommend the Shrimp Basket, Hazels and Docs. We went to NAS Pensacola one day to see the Blue Angel Practice Show, the museum and Imax theater, all well worth attending.
The phone contacts with owner representative Denise Barker were all very helpful when a question arose. She is a pleasure to deal with and we will be a potential candidate to rent again on a future spring break. We will also be telling our friends about "The Pass" when they are looking for a place at the beach.
We have stayed in Orange Beach many times but this was the first time staying at The Pass. In the past we have always stayed on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The people were very friendly, the pools were never crowded, there is a pier where you can fish wish my son enjoyed tremendously, and this condo has tons of room. I was fortunate enough to meet the owners upon arrival who were very friendly and doing some work between the previous renters departure and my arrival. I was a little unsure how we would do not being right on the beach, but it worked out great. We generally only spend one or two days on the beach anyway and it was very easy going across the street to get there. Having the fishing was a huge bonus for my kids (ages 12, 16, and 18). Also, with the money we were able to save, I took my two sons out snapper fishing and they have memories that will last a lifetime!!! The wrap around balcony on this unit is huge and offers views of the gulf, the pass, and the bay. There is also a second balcony off one of the bedrooms which we found later during our trip. This unit has TONS of space and was very enjoyable to stay in. We will definitely be staying here again if it is available during our next planned vacation.
This condo is beautiful. Very spacious and open. We had 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The owners have thought of all the things families will need including a pack-n-play and small swing for infants. We were also pleased with the beach accessories (chairs, umbrella & toys). The pools are amazing and never crowded. Our family enjoyed sitting out on the balcony each morning watching the dolphins swim. The owners were able to be reached with any questions or concerns. Had an overall great stay!!
This condo was perfect for our family. We have 3 kids, 11, 9 & 4. There was something to do for everyone. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. We had 4 adults and 3 kids in the condo and there was plenty of room. Bring plenty of food to cook and save some $$$. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and family dinners. The pools are the perfect size for our kids and also very clean. We saw building staff constantly cleaning the buildings and parking lot. Very impressive. We also loved the fact that we could play on the Bay beach or the gulf beach, located just across the street. The street/highway is a bit of an inconvience. It is a busy highway and can be loud. The breeze coming off the gulf is amazing but it's very loud having the patio doors open during the day. The views are incredible. The thing we liked most about the location of The Pass is the distance we had from all the shops and food places. It's just the right buffer zone. We were also impressed with the help of the owners. Their constant communication made us feel very much at ease. We highly recommend this condo. If you choose to lease unit #311 you have to visit Cotton's for dinner. A+ and the little donut shop just 1/2 mile from the condo. Another A+. And call Captain Scott at littlelagoonfishing.com for a great and private fishing experience. We love Orange Beach, Gulf Shore! It's our new every year spot!
The Pass is located 2 blocks from SanRoc Cay Marina on the bay side. It is right before you get to the overpass going to Perdido Beach.
