This was a fantastic getaway for my family during our wedding week! The place was more than we imagined and there was plenty of space for the 10 people living there to spread out a bit. The property is right by the lake and hiking trails! The AC was broken but it was a breezy week so opening windows worked out well. The owner is very responsive and accommodating.

Spent July 3rd through the 9th. Property lives up to it's claims at a value price, would stay here again. Property owner was very responsive.

Great Location and Experience for first time in CO

  • 4 of 5

House was rented for our daughter softball tournament in Boulder. It was about an hour out from the fields but living and playing in CA, this was a relatively shorter drive than what we are used to.

The house and accommodations were great, very spacious for all of us. Nice view of the mountains and running stream from our front door. The host was very responsive with my questions. I would definitely use this place again when we're back in CO next year.

Comfortable, great location

  • 4 of 5

We were 7 adults and 2 children and felt the space was very comfortable for everybody. The location is walking distance to town and the lake, and just far enough from the highway that it wasn't too loud. We like to spend time outside eating and drinking and playing, so I would have liked to be able to use more of the back yard, but it was overgrown with weeds.

Overall great experience and we will keep it in mind on our next family mountain outing.

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first time using HomeAway and everything went smoothly. The owner, Alex, got back to me right away anytime I had a question and was very accommodating. My family stayed there to do hiking at St. Mary's Glacier and Mt. Bierstadt and to just hang out. The house had everything we needed, as described and more, plenty of space for sleeping and to lounge around. Couldn't hear the neighbors next door at all, it was very quiet. Everything was tidy and clean upon arrival, will definitely stay here again if we come out this way. Great location and cute little mountain town, good local restaurants. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience, my family had a great time as well. Thank you so much for helping us make great family memories!

Lots of room, clean and comfortable.

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Georgetown in May. Clear Creek Retreat had everything we needed. We didn't do any hiking (nearby trails were still snow covered!) but enjoyed the train and mine tour, beautiful views, interesting shops, good restaurants and delicious ice cream at the End if the Line (thanks Marcela). The tips from Alex and from Suzy at the visitor center were right on!
