About the property

3 Bed sleeps six. Close to Javea and Denia, ideal for children, near supermarket

'Oro Rayo' is a south-facing villa that is situated close to Javea/Denia. The villa has grounds of 1/2 acre and its size provides seclusion and quietness. Positioned just 2 miles from the quaint village of Jesus Probre and 4 miles from Javea. The La Sella golf course is a 5 minutes drive away. There is a supermarket 200 metres away and 4 restaurants within a 5-minute drive on the road towards Javea.

The villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 persons. The rooms are well furnished with TV/ CD player and air-conditioning. The kidney shaped pool is 8 x 4 meters and is facing south, ensuring all day sunshine.

The Location: The villa is ideally situated, 10 minutes from Javea and 15 minutes from Denia. Choose Javea and the short drive will take you to the sea front then turn left to head to the Port with its fishing fleet. Watch the boats being unloaded with octopus, prawns and fish fresh from the Mediterranean. Turn right and a few minutes drive will take you to the glorious sandy beach at Arenal. Cafes and bars/restaurants surround the beach.

The Area: If you want to see more of the area the nearby resorts of Altea, Moraira, Calpe, Denia or Benidorm are a short drive away. If the mountains appeal, then take a drive to Jalon along the Jalon valley, stop in the bodega (wine shop) and sample wine from the cask. Then treat yourself to lunch in one of the excellent local restaurants.

Perhaps a boat trip is more to your liking. Catch the boat, which runs between Javea and Denia from the Port. It runs back and forth all day. Or for a longer trip, on Tuesdays and Fridays catch the boat to Calpe, the boat follows the coast and takes about 90 minutes.

Arrival & Departure Details: When you have booked your flights, please email details to me and on arrival in Spain send SMS. If travelling over land by car, please email approximate time of arrival in Javea. Access to the villa is via a keypad on the left hand side of the front door.

The villa will be available for occupation from 3.00 pm onwards on the day of your arrival. On the day of departure the villa needs to be vacated by 10.00 am.

I can't say thank you enough to Ruth and Ken, made our stay super! My best descriptions could not do it sufficient justice or describe it well enough. Our stay was just a joy, a clean well looked after villa with all you could need, you do need a car, but only if you really want to visit the local area, but it will be well worth your time. The beach is sometimes crowded but clean & cared for, we stayed for 2 weeks (July/August) but could have stayed for 2 months & it would probably still would not be enough time. Xabia is worth a few evening visits & the sea front an evening walk or two, but from all of us a jewel in hiding, with many happy memories and a hopeful return sometime soon! PS Do siesta by the pool in the afternoon & enjoy wonderful cakes & food from Mercadona, highly recommended!

Air-conditioning to main bedroom and lounge, electric fans in all other bedrooms. An allowance of 150 units is made per week towards the use of the air-conditioning. Usage over this amount is charged at 12 cents per kwh and will be deducted from the breakage deposit paid. If used sensibly there should be no charge at all. The electricity meter is situated in the garage (so you can monitor your own consumption) is read on the day of arrival and departure. Outside there is a dining table & 6 chairs together with 6 sun loungers. If your stay is for more than 1 week, linen and towels will be changed at the end of each week. For wheelchair users, the villa doors and en-suite shower will allow access for a 63cm chair. WINTER RENTALS ONLY (Long Term) In addition to the quoted price, clients will have to pay for their own gas, electric & water usage (the owners will pay all standing charges) together with an end of rental clean of €120.00.

We loved our stay at the Villa Oro Rayo, it was very well equipped & ideal for my elderly parents. The location was perfect with stunning views & complete peace & quiet.

An amazing retreat!

We spent a lovely week at Villa Oro Rayo. The location was idyllic, the villa was immaculate and Ken & Ruth made us feel so at home. They recommended some great places to eat and suggested some lovely excursions. We felt so relaxed during our stay and were very sad to have to leave. We will definitely come back again!

Very good value for money

The Villa was very nice, clean and welcoming. My family and I had a great time there and the pool was fantastic. I would have given a 5 star but there are some minor repairs around the place that need doing but none of those affected our enjoyment at all.

Villa Oro Rayo

We stayed at the villa for 3 months. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a short break or long stay. We loved the large garden which is totally fenced in and secure. our dog had lots of space to run around. The pool area gets the sun all day and is very private. Ruth and Ken were excellent managers and always available to help with anything you needed. We would definitely recommend the villa and we have booked again for

next year. Thank you Ruth & Ken

Villa Oro Rayo has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Montgo. Oro Rayo is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Close to The Marriott Hotel and the golf course or just a 10 minute drive into Javea Port with its pebble beach and bistro bars or to Arenal with its large sandy beach, popular with children and adults, and with an excellent choice of restaurants & bars. If you want to experience Old Javea then head to the Pueblo, lots of narrow little streets with individual shops, the church and some lovely restaurants, while away some time with tapas and a glass of wine.

Golf: The Villa is a five-minute drive from the largest golf course in the area; La Sella golf has excellent facilities and is part of the Marriott hotel chain.
