Excellently located behind the Parador, 2 minutes walk to the beach and an interesting 10 minute stroll to the town centre, passing many shops and restaurants before you arrive at the beautiful Balcon de Europa, an ideal spot to sit and watch the world go by. This holiday home is is a very secure block of only 11 apartments and has been lovingly refurbished throughout with two bedrooms, plus sofa bed. Each room has individually controlled air conditioning, heating (optional & with supplement). New open-plan fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob, oven, dishwasher, etc.. New bathroom containing extra large shower, WC, bidet & basin. Separate WC and washing machine area. Large comfortable lounge with Ipod Docking Station, CD/DVD player and TV. Internet is available at a supplement. There is a good sized south facing terrace overlooking the gardens and pool. Private secure gated parking and there is a well kept communal garden and pool. The apartment is fully equipped with towels and bedlinen. We can arrange taxi transfer from the airport.

About Frank Meyer

Our parents purchased the property when we were children and we enjoyed so many holidays here as young children, now enjoying our home from home with our children and grandchildren. This block is all about family, lovely secure garden, pool and gated entrance for security. We visit every couple of months and our family love it here.

Why Frank Meyer chose Axarquia (Costa del Sol)

We are situated overlooking the pool. If the children are playing out and about you can easily keep an eye on them and I always remember them playing with Dad in the pool and enjoying a moment to myself whilst I overlooked and enjoyed from the terrace facing the pool.

What makes this apartment unique

The small block size is hard to come by in Nerja. The location with private gate to beach road is convenient and the short walk to the centre is leisurely and interesting. The garden and communal pool are beautiful and secure private parking is the bonus.

Excellently located Aguamarina No. 1 is a spacious comfortable apartment on ground level of a well located, 11 apartments complex. Situated in the sought after residential area behind Parador Hotel in Nerja, the Burriana Beach is less than 3 minutes walk away and the Balcon de Europa, the town centre, is a pleasant 10 minute walk or just a few minutes by car.

This apartment has been recently refurbished and boasts a new modern fully equipped kitchen and two new bathrooms. It is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher and television, etc.. It has a particularly spacious and comfortably sitting room and balcony which overlooks the pool and gardens. There is a communal pool at Aguamarina for the use of guests - Open April - October and much needed private parking area for use of guests.

Value for money great location

Had a great 10 days. Property was difficult to find but was in a great location and not far to walk to Burriana beach and the town centre.

Small matter but could do with some decent coat hangers. Great to have dishwasher and washing machine. Lovely kitchen and bathroom and 2 good size bedrooms. Also handy having 2nd toilet.

Picked up internet immediately. Left details for best programme for dishwasher but would suggest that should also state best programme for quick wash for washing machine. Also need a quick guide for changing the gas bottle for those who have never had to do this. Overall had a great stay and had immediate response from Ger with any enquirers.

Perfect location and size for a family. Close to the beach and town. Very well equipped throughout.

Our family of 5 stayed in Aguamarina in early June. This apartment was all about location for us - we didn't get a car this time and we didn't need it. It was a 3-4 minute walk from the apartment to the Burriana beach and about 10 minutes to the middle of town. Our transfer from and to the airport was organised for us and took all the pressure out of getting from Malaga to Nerja - especially when we arrived in on a late flight. The apartment itself has everything you could need - the kitchen is extremely well equipped, there were loads of towels and bed linen. Two bathrooms was a major bonus with 2 teenage daughters. The table extended out to sit 8 comfortably and the sitting room area was comfortable and spacious. We had no trouble connecting to the wifi. The sun shone on the balcony every morning but the apartment itself was well shaded and relatively cool throughout the day - even without air conditioning.

When we go back to Nerja, we will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to families for its proximity to the beach and also the pool.

Relaxing family holiday in a perfect location.

Frank and Geraldine were very helpful and efficient, promptly replying to any queries we had regarding our forthcoming stay. Geraldine kindly organised a taxi transfer from the airport to the appartment through a recommended taxi company. We were greeted by a lovely lady taxi driver who spoke English and made our transfer to the resort stess free. She had collected the keys from the agent pre-arrival, accompanied us into the property, demonstrated how to operate the air conditioning and booked our return transfer to the airport.

The appartment was comfortable and more spacious than expected with a lovely modern kitchen and combi boiler which meant instant hot water for showers in the modern bathroom. The washing machine was extremely useful for our family of 5 and clothes dried in no time on the balcony.

The complex was quiet, the pool was cleaned every day and the gardens and lawn were attended regularly by a gardener. We hadn't really appreciated how nice the pool was from the photographs so it's location just under our balcony and its generous size were a pleasant surprise. We spent relaxing mornings on the balcony while watching our 3 children race up and down the pool. Then on afternoons we just had a 5 minute walk to the beach where our teenage children enjoyed playing volley ball. On evenings we were spoilt for choice with all the lovely restaurants on the beach front and Nerja town and would have no hesitation in revisiting in the future.

Great Location

The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable , relaxing holiday.

Good central location, close to the beach and the town. Supermarkets near by for all your essentials and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

The owners Frank and Ger always replied promptly with any queries and were very helpful.

It would have been helpful if there was an information book in the apartment with the names and numbers of local doctors, dentists etc. Fortunately we didn't need any but if we had I realised we didn't have any information for local services.

We had a very enjoyable weeks holiday here and would recommend the apartment to couples and families.

Excellent Apartment

Spent two fantastic weeks in Nerja - apartment had everything we needed. Very centrally located offering easy access to many lovely restaurants and minutes from a lovely not overly populated beach. We had a great selection of water sports at our doorstep. Would highly recommend kyaking which took in some fabulous coastal views. We had a car though everything is accessible - supermarket and amenities walking distance. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable - airconditioning a blessing! All mod cons. Owners were extremely helpful and accommodating and communication excellent. The complex itself was quiet, pool and gardens well maintained, other residents friendly. Though I think Internet may have been available we did not avail and it was nice to escape screens for a few weeks - if your suffering withdrawal - most beachside restaurants have wifi available!!! Overall would highly recommend. 😎

Great apartment, good location

The apartment is in a nice location, short walk to the beach and to the town centre. It is very well equipped and was very clean. Second toilet was a plus since there were three of us. The owners made us feel very welcome, any problems were sorted immediately. They were helpful and accommodating. We will definitely recommend the apartment to friends visiting Nerja. We had lovely and relaxing holiday.
