Being our first time doing a rental, we were not sure of what we were going to get. needless to say we were very pleasantly surprised with what we have waiting for us. The pictures does not do this justice. The apartment style set up is beautifully done. The place was clean and inviting, felt right at home. The hosts are some of the nicest people that you can hope for while traveling in this manner. And the cookies waiting at the door were amazing. The river has nice river stone and was warm. We will certainly be back next year.
We are originally from the area and visit family often. We usually stay in a hotel, but this time we opted to stay here instead because it was an extended visit. We have three young, energetic children, and being cooped up in a hotel is always stressful.
We had THE BEST time staying here. We were so comfortable, it felt just like being at home. There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have privacy. Our kids really loved the little sitting room because they could play there while we were watching TV in the family room. Having a full kitchen and laundry room saved us so much money and we were able to eat much healthier and maintain our normal routines while traveling. The apartment is spacious and decorated beautifully and the furniture (especially the pillows!) is all very comfortable and most of all, very very clean. The warm cookies each morning were such a nice surprise. The Fabers are incredibly warm and gracious hosts and their garden is beautiful.
We will definitely be back! We've told everyone we know about what a relief it was to finally find a relaxing place to call home while traveling.
We arrived terribly late due to a snowstorm, and they were incredibly understanding and patient with our late night arrival. The home is spotless, spacious, and unbelievably cozy. The minute we walked in a weight was lifted off our shoulders and we instantly felt at home. They have everything you can think of and are beyond generous through-out your stay. We were surprised with cookies and my 2 year old even got to play in a tent! Thank you for a fantastic stay, and we would be honored to stay again.
We were lucky enough to summer in NE Ohio and found this phenomenal apartment, which served as home for us for more than 2 months. It was spacious, brand new, homey and had all the amenities of any residence, including bikes for us to ride. We were surprised with warm goodies periodically, a true touch of home. The hosts and owners were welcoming, helpful and understanding of our comings and goings. On our final day, we were sad as we pulled away, as it was easy to settle into this grand and comfortable place! We will be back!
This was a wonderful place to stay! It was a great location right off the highway but it was quiet and felt like a treetop retreat! The space was very clean, large, and beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice! It was well appointed with ample kitchen supplies, towels, bed linens, a washing, dryer and ironing board. There was a very nice gas stove in the kitchen and a quiet dishwasher. The skylight in the bathroom was very neat-it was nice to get ready in the morning with the trees in the background. It was a great place to have kids since we could have breakfest and had access to the washer and dryer. Park in front of the house on the driveway there and a private entrance is right by the driveway. The owner's were wonderful. We were left us fresh baked cookies each morning-what a treat! We definitely plan on staying there the next time we come into town. Thank you to the owner's- they were great!
A newly remodeled roomy apartment with great artistic touches, many windows, including a skylight in the bathroom and an outside deck welcomed us on our four-night stay. The location is very convenient with great access to any of Cleveland's eastern suburbs via I-90 & I-271. The surrounding grounds are green with trails to a small river nearby. The bed was very comfortable as well as the rest of the furnishings. The owners are friendly and accommodating including home made chocolate chip cookies. We would definitely stay again.
