This handcrafted log home gives a feeling of warmth and security like only a log home can. Its tranquil location in an old growth forest with it's own koi fish pond will give you the feeling of being far from civilization, while being only minutes from the city life.
One of the unique benefits of this home is the 10 person hot tub overlooking the koi fish pond. Imagine the starry skies amongst majestic firs, all from the comfort of your own private hot tub....a little heaven on earth.
We had a fantastic stay. It's an oasis nestled in the woods. The cabin offers large bedrooms and a spacious common area on the main floor that easily accomodates large parties. The cabin itself is very clean and well cared for. The amenities surpassed our wants list and kitchen well supplied, whatever we needed, we found in either a cupboard, drawer or pantry.
Everyone in our group loved the place and we are all planning to rent it again. You won't be disappointed.
We had a fantastic experience staying at this property. Best titled the "Enchantment House" because everything about it, and the surrounding property is enchanting. It was spacious for our family reunion, with living rooms on the main and lower floors, and plenty of bedrooms for our big group. Gorgeous views out of every window. Rob, the owner, was excellent to work with. We made use of the outdoor hot tub, ping pong table and pool table. The kitchen worked well with many cooks on hand for big, family meals. This place is a true treasure.
Eight cousins rented this property for a reunion in late September 2015. Host Rob Littler was a pleasure to deal with, in advance and during the weekend itself. The setting is lovely and, as others have said, the photos don't quite do the house and property justice. Our eight cooks found the kitchen extremely well-supplied with pots and equipment, and the large dining area easily accommodated communal meals. Plus, for games lovers (we are!), there are lots of options in the downstairs bar. Bedrooms were comfortable and private, with lovely bedding. We would highly recommend this rental.
We had the great pleasure of renting the cabin/facility out for several days for our Wedding this past July 2015. The photos simply do not do the property justice. From how clean the property was, right down to the amazing amenities, we could not have asked for a better setting. Thanks in part to this gorgeous home that accommodated all 10-20 of us (depending on the night), we had a wedding most of our family and friends said was "the best wedding they had ever been to". Thank you Rob -- it was fantastic! We can't wait to return... and will be back!!!
Our family of 16, spanning 3 generations, spent the most wonderful week here. Rob was a super host--gave a great house tour explaining how things worked upon our arrival, was available to deal with any questions we had, offered us veggies from his garden, and was always pleasant and accommodating. The home provided us with spaces for everyone, a hot tub in a serene, beautiful setting, two friendly dogs that entertained our youngsters outdoors, and eating spaces indoors and outdoors that accommodated all of us together. Area amenities provided activities for everyone when they didn't want to just veg out--nearby lakes for swimming, challenging hiking, horse trail rides, provincial and regional parks to explore, etc. We were thrilled with this venue--a gorgeous, well-designed home with no lack of amenities in a quiet, forest setting--couldn't ask for more! We highly recommend a stay here!
There is nowhere more perfect for a large group getaway (15-25 pax) than this wonderful artisan log cabin built by Rob and his family. Absolutely 100% recommend this property for corporate groups and big family reunions. It is perfectly maintained and has enough room for hosting a company strategy retreat with wide variety of breakout and leisure space. Also an ideal quiet location for a group yoga training or meditation group. Every aspect of the cabin design caters to a large groups, creating ideal spaces for making and sharing big meals, hosting a BBQ on the wraparound deck, watching slide shows / presentations on the big screen, or a soak in the hot tub under starry skies and nice outdoor camp fire. By the end of our three day stay, we had enjoyed every corner of the private forested property and took home memories that will last a life time. Thank you Rob!
