This beautiful home in the heart of Manzanita offers spectacular ocean views and a private hot tub in a quiet location.
The first level of the home features an open living space with a gas fireplace acting as the centerpiece. The living room is cozy and has plenty of seating with the wrap around sofa that provides the perfect place to stay warm by the fire as you watch a movie on the flat screen TV with cable. The wall of windows in the sun room facing the ocean provides excellent views year round whether your interest is in storm watching or catching the perfect sunset! The sun room also has two sofas including a full size sleeper sofa that can sleep 2.
The dining area features a table for 6 and there is a smaller breakfast table in the sun room that seats 2 more. The dining table is just steps away from the fully stocked kitchen so it makes it easy to cook and set up the wonderful spread on the dining table for everyone to enjoy.
The first level of the home also features one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo so it is easily accessible for elderly or limited mobility guests since there is just one small step into the house from the driveway.
The second level of the home has two large bedrooms including a master suite with a balcony that has amazing ocean views! Each of the upstairs bedrooms has a queen bed and they share a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination.
The home is full of warmth and character to match Manzanita's small town charm. Manzanita offers a wealth of locally owned fabulous restaurants, a couple of local grocery stores, and several unique shops that provide something to pass your time on rainy days or once you need a break from the sun. The house is a 10 minute walk along the beach from Laneda and the beach is only about a 10-minute walk from the front door so the house is conveniently located while offering a peaceful location.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Great house, great view. Very steep walk down to beach. Plan on driving to manzanita and parking to go to the beach. The house was very clean, and beautiful views.
Very charming home. The view from the hot tub will always be remembered. Views from both decks are also great. The home is clean and well maintained. We felt at home the entire stay. This is definitely one of our favorite homes and we'll be sure to visit again in the future. Thanks for the great time.
Nice house...very cozy. We enjoyed our 3 days there. Although it was rainy, we had plenty to do to keep us entertained inside. It is a short walk to the beach and downtown area. We did get a chance to walk the beach! The view from both decks are awesome! Very nice place for couples or a small family.
Set high on a hill above the town, there are views to the southern sweep of the bay and to the hills and cliffside in the north. A generous hot tub is a great place to relax regardless of weather, and sunny strolls on the beach or windswept cocoas on the deck are insured from inclemency by a well provisioned house, with lots of TVs, cable, board games and a well equipped kitchen with a gas range.
Upstairs rooms share a jack and jill master, but are well separated for privacy, and another bedroom downstairs is complimented by sleepable couches in the living areas. A big dining table accommodates eight easily, but you'll all be sitting in the sunroom gazing at the ocean anyway.
A meandering and pleasant walk to the beach could be improved by a path, but the sleepy lanes are fascinating anyway. Parking will accommodate three vehicles side by side. Enjoy it. We'll be back.
The home and deck have a great view of the ocean. If you intend to spend most of your time in the home, this might be perfect for you. It's nothing fancy but very clean and in good repair. Note, if you like to cook bring your own knives as the ones in the home are super dull. It is a hike to the beach and into town, so keep this in mind if you have children.
The reason for my two star review has to do with two of the most important elements of the home (for us). First the hot tub was not working upon check in. We were informed of this three minutes prior to check in. Second, the gas fireplace is strangely hooked to the thermostat so it is often just on low pilot light. Hardly the crackling fire you might want in the winter. Finally, while polite, the management company was not very responsive and not fully honest with us. They claimed that we couldn't get an early check in because it was being cleaned. It turned out that the home had not been occupied in a week and cleaned the week prior. They claimed they would be proactive with the tub issues and were not. For the price, there are better options in the area and there are certainly better management companies than Vacasa. Renter beware.
