Welcome to Making Memories

RELAX in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. This condo is in a new building at the Maravilla and has recently been completed with the latest designer decor.

Enjoy a king size bed in BOTH bedrooms. We offer a washer/ dryer inside the condo. We also have secure Wifi so you can work or surf the internet while enjoying our amazing views.

In the hall, there are 2 bunks. The bottom bunk bed converts to a convenient settee for playing games, eating or reading. The den features a large couch that converts to a queen sleeper. The guest bath includes beautiful tiled shower and granite countertop with undermount sink. The master bath features a jetted tub with a gorgeous tile surround. The sink is a stainless vessel with a unique vessel faucet. Wake up to a view of the Gulf from the oversized master bedroom with entry to the large balcony that spands across the den.

The kitchen has a side window view of a relaxing lagoon to the east and features beautiful granite countertops and convenient cooking supplies including, coffee maker, blender, George Foreman grill and other necessities. Keruig coffee maker and a standard coffee maker as well. Please note to bring any Keruig single cup coffee or brewers (K Cups). Supplies for the Keruig are not in the condo but it is there for your use.

The owners provide all your starter needs such as paper products, coffee, salt, pepper, etc. Parking passes are needed to stay at the Maravilla. $15 per car, purchased upon arrival, valid for your entire stay.

Pets welcome on a case by case basis with approval. Please email the manager age, breed, and size

The Maravilla Resort has 3 pools. One of the largest resort pools on the island. The pool seen from our balcony is heated. We have a hot tub, charcoal grills, and some of the most beautiful tropical grounds. Our pools are never overcrowded due to the size of our grounds.

The Maravilla is about 5 minutes from Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. We have Jimmy's Fishing Pier and restaurant within walking distance.

We are within walking distance of go carts and an arcade center.

We are at the very Western end of the Seawall. far enough from all the hustle and bustle of the island but close enough to be minutes away from all the attractions and wonderful food Galveston has to offer.

Why Christina Stevens chose Texas Gulf Coast

We chose to purchase at the Maravilla condos because of the great location that is minutes from all the great activities in Galveston. The Maravilla has wonderfully landscaped grounds with a nice river running from front to back. The pools are incredible with a large free form pool with a cabana for your convenience. Below our condo there is a third pool which we like since it is a little quieter and very convenient.

What makes this condo unique

One of the things we like best about the Maravilla is the convenient location to Galveston activities yet directly around the Maravilla it is on the quieter end of the seawall so you can get away from it all if you want to. It is easy to cross the street and walk up and down the seawall and look for dolphins playing and birds soaring overhead. The atmosphere is relaxing and the property has spacious grounds which provide enough room to never feel crowded! Enjoy our balcony which spands both the den and master bedroom and the view includes a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Coming soon the city has plans to expand beach front entrance in front of our resort. More details later in 2015.

Our experience was great! First, working with the Galveston Real Estate team exceeded expectations. The were responsive, flexible in our requests and provided very clear rental instructions.



As for the condo, it was phenomenal. This unit was all new inside, very clean and well kept. The best compliment I can pay is that I would certainly recommend this unit and working with Galveston Real Estate to others and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Notes:
3 large pools, super comfortable sheets, fabulous tropical decor, extra large master bedroom, granite and tile in baths and kitchen, master bath has beautiful stainless sink and faucet, large deck with expansive Gulf view, flat panel TV's in every room. Our hot tub is warm year around. Minutes away from some of Galveston's main attractions including several beaches. This unit was fully renovated beginning in late 2011 to May 2012.

Beautiful Condo!!!

My family of four stayed here for a weekend for a cheer competition. The condo is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The owner is very friendly and helpful!! My family enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking this condo again for our future Galveston visits.

Rest, relax, enjoy the beauty!

The minute we stepped into the condo for our second visit this year, my sister, brother and his girlfriend, and I were instantly transformed to the laid back beach mode. This condo is so refreshing & relaxing. It smells great, is super clean and decorated beautifully in a beach motif. There are beautiful views from three sides. We especially enjoyed brisk walks on the seawall early in the morning watching the sun come up. The condo is close to Galveston Island State Park and to the beautiful, lush Lafitte's Cove bird sanctuary. A new discovery for us was the spectacular Bryan Museum in downtown Galveston. It's very reasonably priced. If you go be sure to do a tour with a docent for the richest experience. This condo is the place to go to leave all your cares behind and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.

Great Condo

The condo was a great place to stay. It was decorated very nicely and plenty of room for myself, husband and two teenage girls. I loved the complimentary coffee and Kerig that was available, as we arrived later on a Friday night and made it nice just to relax instead of going grocery shopping. I find the regulations for not getting the instructions but 48 hours in advance an unnecessary hassle for the renter. ( I did not receive the instructions but closer to 12 hours in advance making the process a little unsettling, as I have encountered problems before) Also the office is not usually open at 8:00 but more like 10:00 even though they say they will tow you if you do not have a parking permit, which I find kind of extreme. I own vacation rentals in many areas including on the beach in Texas which is known for spring breakers and unruly renters but all the rules with this condo and company are a turnoff to considerate renters such as myself. Loved everything about the condo but not sure it is worth the hassle renting again.

Owner's Response: We thank you for your visit and your review. The condo is amazing. I am sorry you do not agree with the rules we have posted. The check in documents do state the office does not open until 10. They also state you are not in danger of being towed unless you go for several nights without a pass. We have many travelers that arrive after the office closes. We cannot assign a door code till 48 hours before your stay. These instructions do go into spam boxes on occasion. You are advised to contact the office if you have not received those instructions. You are advised before you even book that a parking permit is required. Rules are important so we do not have Spring Break parties that effect our family stays. They have been in place for 6 years and this is the first complaint we have had.

Wonderful condo in a great location!

I definitely recommend this condo. It is very bright, cheerful and well decorated. It was also very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped including dishes, mixing bowls and pots and pans. Pools were great! Also nice to have covered parking and luggage carts!

It was a perfect home away from home. The unit has everything we needed and more.

We loved the unit and the huge pool of the property. The kitchen has everything we wanted and the beds were very comfortable. We did not want the vacation to end.

Close to fun Galveston activities Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, numerous beaches to visit and the NEW Pleasure Pier. Visit the historical Strand area or reserve a deep sea fishing trip. Just a few other things to do include miniature golf, bungee jumping, or kayak with Artist Boat. Galveston has so many wonderful restaurants. The island is full of fun all year long. We have numerous special events such as Mardi Gras, Bike Rally's, and Dickens on the Strand make that make our island very unique. A calendar of monthly events can be provided by our property manager.
