Condo was very nice & Accommodating

Condo was very nice and accommodating. The proximity to the beach was excellent. My husband, 3 kids, and I enjoyed our stay. We did used the washer and dryer while there and the washer does sound like it is about to take flight during it's wash cycle. I will recommend this to a friend.

Great location for the three of us

I was with two other ladies. We were discouraged from this location because it was away from the hustle and bustle but that is one thing that we really liked about it. The set up of the condo itself was perfect for us. It was clean, very comfortable, and the view of the beach was great. Note to the owners, on the decorating side, I would suggest replacing the rug underneath the coffee table or not having a rug at all. It was really an eyesore. We immediately rolled it up and put it to the side. We did put it back in place before we left. We also could not get any of the three DVD players to work. With that said, we highly recommend this condo and the location. It is only a short drive for shopping and restaurants.

Condo with a view

Great location. Far enough away from the main drag to be peaceful but close enough that your not missing out. It was perfect for a family of 4. The view was beautiful. So nice to be able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy ourselves. The sun never directly hits it so it's always in shade! It was great to have the pools and beach right there. Will be renting there again and have already given info to friends and family.

Room was nothing like pictures bathrooms very little an all TV's were extra tiny,carpet was Nasty no garbage bags, everything very old and outdated,light bulbs blown,toilet paper holder broke,long walk to beach I could go on on will definitely never stay there again.owners didn't respond to emails or msgs in an appropriate timly manner.Just a bad stay overall.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us and also for expressing your concerns. The number of issues you mentioned are puzzling to us since you only stayed with us for one evening checking in after 4 PM and out the next morning prior to 10. Our units are all keep to a high stand in terms of being clean. Our check-in instructions clearly state if there is a problem of any type to notify us upon arrival so we can immediately address. All trash cans have plastic liners in them. Guest are provided with two different individuals to reach to for assistance and both parties respond to emails and phone calls so we are again confused. In any case, we are sorry the unit did not meet your expectations but again with to thank you for staying with us.

Just Okay -- Yolo Condo

The condo wasn't as pristine as the online pictures portrayed. The carpet in bedrooms was dingy, the furniture & quality of the rooms was that of a cheap hotel. When barefoot indoors my feet got black quickly. I'm generally pretty laid back when it comes to accommodations. This "YOLO" rental wasn't anything spectacular. Sleeping 6 isn't that easy. The living room is jam-packed with too much furniture & didn't allow for us to pull-out the sofa bed. They've got a lot crammed into this condo. Yikes!

The beach access is great! The tennis courts are nice! Weight room in complex next store had some free weights, a machine for lifting & some cardio machines. It worked good enough. It's a tiny arena - go early.

It's nice that The Plantation is a private rental. So the pool & beach aren't overly crowded. We ended walking to the pool area to the right, which was more kid friendly for our 5 & 7 year-old-boys.

I liked that it was a more remote location. It's a 20-25 min. drive to the hustle & bustle spots, which didn't bother us.

Great restaurant--The Hideaway -- was a few miles away & everything was very flavorful on their menu! Went to a few places in town & preferred this spot the best!

Will be looking to rent somewhere else next time.

We would have appreciated you following the arrival instructions provided prior to check in and alerting us if there was a problem with the floors, or anything else upon arrival. This would have allowed us to correct any problems immediately and would have provided you an opportunity to have had a more enjoyable stay, which is our ultimate goal. Although we strive to always have things in great condition upon arrival we sometime miss things, so we want to know if that is the case. Your review came as a surprise to us. As you can tell from the other reviews this is a popular unit which people normally speak very highly of and they normally find the resort amenities great. I am sorry that is not how you felt. Damage Protection $49 + Tax
Tax Rate 9.5%

An advanced rental payment of $200 is due at the time of booking. The balance of the rental is due 50 days from arrival. Payment may be made by check, money order or credit/debit card. An extra fee applies to payment made by card. The damage protection covers damages up to $175. Renters provide a credit card to be kept on file for damages exceeding $175. The resort you are staying at requires a $20 registration certificate per vehicle, which is good for the length of your stay. Rate are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
