Located just north of Hilo, in the breathtaking Hamakua Heritage Corridor, this property has outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean from every corner! You can watch the sunrise every morning and during whale season you can see and hear the whales breaching and calling. This newly built home is large, comfortable and has all the modern amenities. It is a 2 story home with 3 bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs has the living, dining and full kitchen with double french doors that open to a large Lanai with deck chairs for your fun and relaxation. Grab you favorite drink and enjoy the sweeping ocean view. The year around tread wind keeps this area cooler and less humid than the rest of the island. You can buy island grown fruits and vegetables at the nearby farmer's market and cook delicious meals in our kitchen while looking at the ocean. Our UV- filtered rainwater tastes better than bottled water. Your children will love feeding and petting our friendly sheep on the property. In the evening, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the flat screen HDTV and watch your favorite channel or take advantage of the blue-ray DVD player. With newly added internet with WiFi, you can also stay connected to your friends and family..

Three bedroom, 2 bath home with a beautiful view of the ocean. It's about 18 miles from Hilo and a beautiful 2 hour drive from Kona.
Our family of five adults and one child enjoyed our four days in this lovely house situated on the west coast. It was in a rural area and in a great location for visits to the Botanical Garden, waterfalls, remote beaches, Vanilla and Tea Plantations, and much more. We all loved the cute sheep that adjoin the property and it was great to see them graze in the evening as the sun set over the ocean. Truly is sweeping ocean views! We visited in August but as there is no AC, we just opened the windows and enjoyed the ocean breeze. The living room, dining area, and kitchen were well appointed and have everything you need. Some newer linens in the rather small bedrooms would make the house sleeping areas more welcoming. We especially enjoyed the large upstairs porch with its great views.
We enjoyed the home immensely. It was just what we wanted, a peaceful oasis with ocean views. Everything was so easy and such great communication from Tarek and the property manager. Everything we needed was provided at the house. Would love to be back as soon as possible. Highly recommend this house for beautiful and peaceful surroundings and my favorite location on the Big Island! Mahalo!
We enjoyed this house very much. The ocean view is amazing.( eapecially sunrise) No AC was kinda hard thing to me but I heard most of house in Big Island has no AC. Overall, great choice!
Our first VRBO experience and we are extremely happy. Tarek was very accommodating and immediately made us feel comfortable. He checked to make sure we arrived safely. We loved the view and enjoyed the morning sunrises. We liked the fact that it was quiet and was sitting on a couple of acres. The house was very clean and the pictures were accurate. The house has all the comforts of home and we can't think of anything that was missing. Plenty of things to see nearby. Thank you Tarek for sharing your home and making this an excellent experience.
With a great ocean view and a well equipped house, there is little more that one needs!! Well, maybe a few geckos, some fresh bananas, and an ocean breeze gently breezing over the deck while one scans the ocean, and if lucky, sees whales blowing or breaching!! Yes, that is available here also!! 3 beds, 2 full baths, newer home well kept and very clean inside and out as well as the groomed grounds make this home very comfortable for families wanting privacy, peace and a country atmosphere!! It suited us perfectly! it is never too far to go anywhere on this island. A short drive away and the sun would be shining if we left in a gentle Hawaiian rain. Kona, Hilo, Waimea, the volcanos all easily reached. Hilo, is 20 minutes to great parks, beaches, farmer markets and places to eat. Waimea, is 45 minutes in the opposite direction and from there another 10-15 minutes to the top side of Kona and the start of some terrific beaches!! Pick up the local maps and brochures and find what interests you and away you go! Be adventurous and take the side roads, it is amazing what you will see! So much history and so many diversified cultures blended to make Hawaii the unique place it is.
One month here away from the snow in Canada is never enough but we are thankful for our time spend there!
