Overview

About the property

Two story home with 3 bedrooms downstairs and living room and kitchen upstairs

Located just north of Hilo, in the breathtaking Hamakua Heritage Corridor, this property has outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean from every corner! You can watch the sunrise every morning and during whale season you can see and hear the whales breaching and calling. This newly built home is large, comfortable and has all the modern amenities. It is a 2 story home with 3 bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs has the living, dining and full kitchen with double french doors that open to a large Lanai with deck chairs for your fun and relaxation. Grab you favorite drink and enjoy the sweeping ocean view. The year around tread wind keeps this area cooler and less humid than the rest of the island. You can buy island grown fruits and vegetables at the nearby farmer's market and cook delicious meals in our kitchen while looking at the ocean. Our UV- filtered rainwater tastes better than bottled water. Your children will love feeding and petting our friendly sheep on the property. In the evening, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the flat screen HDTV and watch your favorite channel or take advantage of the blue-ray DVD player. With newly added internet with WiFi, you can also stay connected to your friends and family..

Built on 2 lush green acres, this home provides you with privacy, security and all the peace and quiet you need. Located close to the Hawaii Belt Road that circles the entire island, it is easy to find at night and convenient for your sight seeing.

Centrally located to both Hilo and Kona and all the major attractions - Hilo 15 minutes, Waimea/Waipio 30 minutes. Famous Akaka Falls Park and Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden are only minutes away. It is a drive away to the most visited Volcano National Park and the beautiful Black Sand beach.

There are many beautiful sites on this island to visit but I assure you that you and your family will end up spending a few days just hanging out in this home. My family is very excited to make our home available to you for your stay on the Big Island. We are offering very low rate to our guests!!! Additional discount is available if you stay 7 days or longer.

Haven't been on this side of the island

In years ! & somehow everyone in Laupahoēhoē knows the bright pink house on the hill! It was such a pleasure to stay in such a comfortable spacious home. I loves every single ounce of it. Felt like my very own house that I could call mine for the week! The house had everything I needed, the bathrooms were gorgeous and I loved the marble countertops, decor was so beautiful yet simple enough to tie it all together! The lanai was my favorite! Waking up to some hot coffee to watch the sun climb out onto the ocean was just a spectacular way to start your day. The home was marvelous inside and out, we picked some mangoes and lingered with the friendly animals. It was truly no place like HOME. The bedrooms were so comfortable and made me fall asleep like a baby every night, so cozy and soft. I loved the washroom and the fun pineappple inflatable that we used down at the point. The house came with everything! We watched movies at night and talked stories in the dining area. I didn't want to leave our pink bright doll house we call it. Thank you TAREK AND ASHLEY!!! We appreciate the home! I might even come back again!

Best view in the world

  • 5 of 5

This home truly took us away from it all. It was so peaceful and private. We loved the view of the beautiful, blue Pacific ocean whether we were relaxing on the balcony or eating breakfast on the dining table. It was great for our kids, because there was a huge yard that was completely fenced in with a gate. It was our first time renting a vacation home vs a hotel. I was a little apprehensive, but booking on vrbo made me feel secure. The owner, Tarek and local contact, Ashley was great with communicating with me as well. Upon arrival, the home was very clean. We had all the ammenities that we needed including a little step stool for my 2 year old. Staying in this home definitely made our vacation relaxing and memorable.

Quiet, lovely view, lots of space - everyting you need

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay in Ninole. The house is very spacious, clean, well equipped and has an amazing ocean view! Kitchen is well equipped, we only had a few problems with the dishwasher.

The house is about 30 min drive from Hilo and big supermarkets, so if staying there a bit of driving will be necessary.

The only improvement I would suggest is to make the outside area a little more attractive, maybe add a table so one can eat outside. The chairs on the balcony were quite dirty and a bit rusty. Our daughter loved the sheep and cows on the property (they are behind a fence so cannot come right up to the house :) ).

Christmas in the country

  • 4 of 5

The house is about 20 minutes north of Hilo and about 1-1/2 hours from the Kona area. We did put a lot of miles on our rental car - over 1,300 in one week! However, we remarked that we wouldn't have seen nearly as many sites if we had been at one of the resorts. Having a house gave us lots of elbow room, a kitchen to make our morning coffee and prepare our breakfast before we started out on our daily adventures. We did fly into Kona airport and did stock up at Costco before we went to the house, as was suggested by Tarek. We also had a wonderful view of the ocean and at the same time a bit of country living with the sheep in the front yard. We also loved that the Volcano National Park was on this side of the island. We went several times to observe the lava flow. It was an amazing site. Something we have never seen.

The only issue we had was with the spiders on the porch. My husband and son cleared out the spiders & spider web one afternoon to view the ocean. Next morning the spiders and webs we back as before; partly do to fact you could not get to the spiders above in A-frame part of the porch. Also found ants coming in through the bathroom and kitchen windows.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others when they visit this wonderful island...

Spectacular view!

  • 4 of 5

Very nice, comfortable stay. Much better than the climate in Wisconsin in January. Pictures on site were very accurate. Very relaxing and welcoming. Improvements could include newer mattresses and all queen size.
