Beautiful home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at this property for an extended weekend getaway. It is a lovely historic home with beautiful grounds and nice privacy. It is well situated within minutes of the local grocery store (Clarks IGA) and the charming town center with other dining options. The house is very spacious with a master BR on the first floor and other bedroom upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and had all the modern amenities. The highlight for us was the screened in porch area where we could relax and dine to our heart's content. We loved the general area for exploring especially with Lowell Lake basically next door. The flowers in the property were beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the yard with our dogs. The owners have done a nice job decorating to keep the integrity of this 1803 home. Also the owner Nancy was a pleasure to work with. It was so hard to leave this amazing place. We can't wait to come back again!

Lovely Mix of Old Vermont and Modern Conveniences

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our week's stay at this beautiful spacious home. in the dining room, living room, and screened in porch, we could pretend that we were citizens of Vermont shortly after the American Revolution-enjoying fabulous views of flowers and lawns. In the family room, kitchen and bathroms we enjoyed all the beneits of reently updated features and 21st century technology. Nancy and Tom, the owners, gave us great tips on surrounding attractions, from restaurants, to the farmer's market, to a great hiking trail with breathtaking views. We enjoyed a side trip (15 minutes) to the Weston Priory and the Vermont Country Store. We highly recommend this home to one and all!

Beautiful historic home

  • 5 of 5

This nineteenth century farmhouse sits on a very large and beautiful property. We had a fantastic week with our family of four. Our children loved running around the grounds and sitting in the hammock. We ate meals in the beautiful dining room or the lovely screened in porch. The family room has great games, a large TV and a foos ball table that kept us entertained on rainy days. We drove to the Londonderry farmer's market and a wonderful restaurant called SoLo Farm and Table, both of which are very close by. We've been vacationing in Vermont for 10 years and this is by far the nicest place we have stayed in. We highly recommend it!

Classic Vermont

  • 5 of 5

Years ago we admired this house when we bicycled past it. The large boulders in the yard attracted our attention. We were pleased to find this house we knew was available.

Our younger granddaughter accompanied us for this visit. She was enthralled with the floors and the furnishings. This is a great place to visit and would be a wonderful place to live.

We found everything we wanted or needed in the kitchen so that we could prepare meals for the three of us.

We hope to return here again some summer.

Beautiful Vermont Home

  • 5 of 5

A group of eight, all photographers rented the house for a long weekend in the fall and we found the home to be roomy, nicely equipped and in a very convenient location. It fulfilled our needs perfectly and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again next year.

Beautiful Historic Farm House

  • 5 of 5

After having rented a number of homes throughout the Londonderry and Manchester areas this past winter I felt compelled to write a review about this particular house as it was the favorite of my family of 4. This home's description and photos are spot on (unlike some other homes I have rented where what you see is not necessarily what you get) The house is very spacious and furnished beautifully. We had 4 adults and 2 children in the home for our weekend and everyone had a blast.

The kitchen is beautiful and Fully stocked with everything you might need. Plus there are 2 comfy club chairs and a wood burning stove in the kitchen making it an instant favorite place to hang out and relax. The dining room table is huge and easily fit our group of 6 and the TV room is a perfect place to relax with a big couch, gas fireplace and more club chairs.

You get the best of both worlds with this home. It maintains the ambiance of a centuries old farmhouse (with beautiful wide-plank wood floors and Oriental rugs throughout) yet all of the bathrooms are newly renovated and have good water pressure for the showers. (important after a day of skiing) The master bedroom is large with antique furnishings and the 3 bedrooms upstairs all provide more than enough space, the King bedded room upstairs is enormous, complete with a sectional couch of its own.

There really is so much to love about this house we can't wait to return.
