The apartment has its own private roof terrace and an additional balcony off bedroom 1.

Central London holiday apartments set in the heart of the romantic SHAD THAMES district (QUEEN ELIZABETH STREET SE1) just ONE MINUTE'S walk to The River Thames & Tower Bridge. These comfortable yet simple apartments are set over-looking Queen Elizabeth Street. They benefit from a bright aspect and large private roof terraces. The apartments provide comfort for vacation or business travellers.Very suitable for families with plentiful lounge and dining seating. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a washing machine and dishwasher. High ceilings and tall windows provide a light environment. In addition to the two double beds in each bedroom; the sofa beds in the lounge areas are perfectly suitable for 2 adults. The lounge areas are completely separate from the bedrooms with their full king size beds. This ensures sleeping privacy if required. 8 minutes walk to Tube station.

APARTMENT 1. One bedroom apartment. This is complete with 2 king size double beds in the bedroom. 1 sofa beds in the lounge. Sleeps 5 persons maximum. 830 square feet. Great for families sharing.

We have two apartments, both within the same beautiful building on Queen Elizabeth Street.

APARTMENT 2. Two bedrooms & two bathrooms. This is complete with a king size double bed in each bedroom. One king size sofa bed in the lounge and one single guest bed. 885 square feet.

WE ARE FAMILY RUN BUSINESS.: Shad Thames is an extremely desirable area for both visitors, and those who live here. Shad Thames is truly an oasis in the heart of central London. We have two apartments all within the same building. Please email or call for availability. We can accommodate upto 12 persons.

Many holiday apartments advertise that they are situated on the South Bank, when actually they are 10-20 minutes from the river. Our apartments really do have the river and Bankside right on the doorstep.

About Marian Selby

We are a family run business. We have just two apartments, and both are within the stunning Circle Apartment building. We are not a large business with multiple apartments. Having just two units allows us to offer a very personal approach for our guests. We handle all our own bookings, and will be the single point of contact. We do not use agents.

Easter Weekend in London

Just returned from a long weekend in the apartment and it was just fantastic. The location is great - right by the river, with easy access to public transport, the city and yet quiet and peaceful too. Bars and restaurants also nearby worked well as well. Parking on site also a real bonus.

The accomodation is excellent with plenty of room for two couples. The balcony was well used and kitchen facilities meant some meals were self cooked rather than eating out. Overall it was just and excellent place to stay and it was good value too. We will be back.

Spacious gem near Tower Bridge

My family enjoyed our stay in this spacious and well-lit flat. It is fully equipped, very clean, and, very comfortable. Location is excellent with Thames, Tower Bridge, and exciting activities of the wharf and pier just a few minutes walk away. Tower of London and tour buses / boat cruises are a 15 - 20 min walk away. Bermondsey tube station is a 15 min brisk walk away. If you have large bags, better take a cab or Uber from this station or London Bridge tube station. Neil (manager/owner) was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay and we appreciated his timely assistance and consideration with a few of our requests for which we were grateful. Comfy and clean beds and linens. Washer/dryer and Dishwasher worked beautifully as did showers. Very quiet at night and peaceful which allowed for a nice rest before starting a busy day touring about. Grocery store a minute away was very convenient. Excellent value and experience. Definitely would return!

Great location, Appt. Size good but inside should have been cleaner & fresher.

Brilliant location, able to walk to lots of attractions & good restaurants. Good sized apartment but inside needs freshening up. Pillows on beds need replaced but linen was clean and fresh. Kitchen needs a good clean.

Owner's Response: Due to a blocked stack pipe we needed plumbers to attend and dismantle the kitchen sink and the associated plumbing. It was very unfortunate that this occurred just prior to your arrival. The plumbers were independent contractors and we can only apologise for the inconvenience and the disruption to the kitchen upon arrival. Further to other observations. We replace pillows and duvets regularly (every 4 months), and as a matter of fact, these are due for replacement on 1st March. In addition, everyday kitchen items are replaced every 12 months. This will also take place on 1st March with new pots, pans and cutlery etc.. We keep our rates very low from November through to March. This is in part due to seasonal demands as well as in acknowledgement that key items, such as pots, pans, cutlery etc are coming towards the end of their life span. We rely on guest feedback to assist us in keeping standards at an acceptable level. If we are notified of any issues during a guest's stay, we react and remedy very promptly. IT IS AN ENORMOUS PITY WHEN A GUEST MAKES NO MENTION OF A CONCERN DURING THEIR STAY, BUT INSTEAD RAISES THE ISSUE AFTER DEPARTURE, AND ON A GLOBAL REVEIW SITE RATHER THAN AT LEAST ADDRESSING THE OWNER FIRST.

Spectacularly AMAZING !!

The apartment though a little dated was awesome....It had everything a family or in our case 5 guys could ever need ! Marian and staff were incredible and accommodating. near tube stops, walking distance to the bridge/tube and best of all local pubs/restaurants/grocery . We would all definitely book this apartment on our next visits ...this time with the family !! Thank you for making our experience in London most memorable !!
