About Natali Lenning

We LOVE FAMILY and large family gatherings. We have used the cabin over the years to bring our families together and have made many good memories as brothers, sisters and cousins have grown up and have had wonderful experiences together. We have ridden quads, taken walks, gone fishing, boating, swimming and rafting, visited Yellowstone National Park several times, been to rodeos, local town fairs, roasted marshmallows, talked, played, etc.

Natali Lenning purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Natali Lenning chose Yellowstone

We designed and built this cabin to allow large families to get together and make great memories far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is close to a beautiful reservoir open to fishing, water-skiing, jet-skiing and swimming. You can float down a nearby lazy river, or have access to some of the world's best fly-fishing. It is only 30 miles from Yellowstone National Park where you can see some of nature's most wondrous creations. Locally hike and be amazed at Mesa Falls and other hiking trails. Local trails are available for quads and dirt bikes. You are surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and wildlife such as deer, elk and moose.

Great family reunion

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is even better than the pictures. Very nice home and in great condition, large enough for 20 people to each have their own beds. Close to lots of outdoor activities. Lakeside lodge is only 10 minutes away where we rented a ski boat for the day. They also had ATVS, waver understand, pontoon boats and other stuff.

Great Cabin for a Large Family!

  • 4 of 5

Pros: We really enjoyed staying at the Sweet Escape Cabin! The open layout was spacious enough for our large family to stay and the hot tub was a great bonus feature! The 3 bathrooms worked out well for our families and there were plenty of towels if you checked in the cupboards! The cabin was well stocked with things to do as well as kitchen supplies that you might need. The kids loved playing in the game-room in the evening and roasting hot dogs over the fire pit. With having 24 people (in 6 families)it was tricky to get all 24 beds to work for our 24 people, so plan ahead if you'll be using all 24 "spots".

Cons: The only draw-backs we found were that there were dirty (stinky) towels in the laundry room upon arrival and a bag of trash left in our trash bin that we then became responsible for disposing. The washing machine would periodically pause in running (even though we VERY careful not to overload it) so we had to be sure to monitor when we put a load in to ensure it wasn't stuck.

Overall, we would totally stay here again! :) Thanks for opening your home to us!

Great location and Cabin

  • 4 of 5

We were so pleasantly surprised by the cabin. It is large and spacious and fit our 19 person group very well. The games in the garage were a hit with the grandkids. As mentioned in earlier posts - the pictures of the cabin do not do it justice - it is much better than the photos show. Needs one more bathroom for larger groups but I would highly recommend this cabin. Thanks for a great week!

Fun with the fam

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin! It had plenty of parking for our family. Great location and far enough from neighbors to have our privacy. We had a cow moose and her 2 calves right outside that we enjoyed watching every day. Game room was a hit with the kids. Already talking about next year! Thanks for the memories.

Wonderful! See additional comments.

  • 5 of 5

We really love station your cabin! Our older grandkids really have fun with the games in your garage - one of the reasons your cabin is special for us. We all enjoy being close enough to walk to the dock and the older boys do some fishing there. We love the spacious great room and kitchen and have a talent program there each year on the last night! We never use the hot tub- just not our thing with a large group and so many things we all enjoy doing as a group.

One thing that didn't seem to work as well - the oven did not cook evenly. One side cooked hotter than the other and it didn't cook things as well on the bottom. We did fruit cobblers and it stayed doughy between the top and the fruit. We had the same problem with pot pies - the bottom crust didn't cook very well. Another little thing, your can openers don't work. I was going to bring my own this year and forgot.

Overall we loved everything and definitely look forward to our vacation there again next summer! We already have it reserved‼️

We did see that you have it up for sale 😢😢 will that affect our reservation for next July? If so, please let me know so we can find another cabin as soon as possible that meets our needs.

Thanks! Loretta Palmer
