Dear Monica, We had such a lovely time in your beautiful cottage. The area is fantastic and we found lots of things to do. The local forest is great and we enjoyed our walks and running there. We also loved spending time in the garden and admiring your pretty flowers.
We hope to be back one day to see the area in the summer and visit the beautiful gardens you were telling us about.
Good luck and all the best for the future.
Thank you for everything.

The house is charming and comfortable with lashings of hot water. The garden is fantastic, interesting and slightly rambling. The area is quite beautiful. We had a good short stay here interspersed with trips to municipal swimming pools, Rouen, a couple of markets and a morning at le Bocasse, a small amusement park followed by an afternoon at a beautiful garden with wild birds and wallabies, close to it.
Thank you Monica and Milan for a lovely stay. I would recommend this to anyone, although teenagers might find the remote location frustrating if they need a little freedom.
Great stay, as usual. We were delighted once again for a few days of quietness in Latitia's lovely cottage.
Spent Christmas in the cottage in the middle of the countryside, went for a walk in the forest and for a coffee in Lyons la Foret.
Woud definitely go there again !
My husband, two teenage daughters and myself, really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, "typically French", cottage. It has a lot of character and is ideally situated for travelling to numerous places of interest. The owner, Laetitia, was extremely helpful in marking out places to visit, on a large map of the area. We arrived at the cottage very late at night, so her welcoming cup of tea, Neufchatel cheese etc were much appreciated. It was lovely to come back to the cottage every evening, to cook a meal, after a day out at some really beautiful places. We even managed a fab day trip to Paris on a very modern double decker, high speed train, from Vernon station.
All in all, a wonderful week away in France.
If you are looking for a rural retreat that is still close enough to local points of interest, such as chateaux, gardens, pretty villages, market days, and Rouen, then this place is perfect.
We stayed for 5 days, and as well as appreciating the lovely gardens, took walks in the surrounding countryside and forest, which was right on the doorstep.
Breakfast on the patio, reading on the lawn in the afternoon, or an evening stroll through the delightful garden, relax as you please, in this haven of calm.
Monica was an excellent host, very helpful with tips and suggestions on things to do and places to visit, and thoughtful touches too.
The cottage was cosy and very well equipped, with plenty of hot water, comfortable beds with wi-fi and a plethora of TV channels too.
We were also fortunate to see local wildlife too, red squirrel, deer, birds of prey, butterflies and bees, to name but a few.
Always a pleasure to come back to Normandy. It's our fifth stay here near the Forest of Lyons.
My husband and our 2 children came back for Christmas at Laetitia's cottage and as usual, we were very happy with our stay.
We even had snow the day after Christmas : magical !
The owner is very friendly, helpful and generous with her time. The cottage is in a very peaceful and calm setting.
Very good value for money.
Super stay during Chrsitmas and New Year in the very charming cottage of Laetitia.
We once again thank Laetitia and Milan for their welcome with the Xmas tree, cheese and bottle of cider.
The house is very comfortable, and the garden always wonderful.
It is our fourth stay here and we will probably come back again !! Our children were also very excited to spend Xmas there.
Really fell in love with this cottage, the region and also the forest of Lyons where we had lovely walks.
We highly recommend this place for a peaceful and delightful stay in Normandy.
