Eighteen year summer resident and homeowner in Wellfleet/Truro.
This home is our third in the area.
It is a very unique location and we love it more every year.
John Regan purchased this house in 2012
We vacationed for many years on the outer cape. We bought this home because of its unique location and views.
This home offers so much it is difficult to describe in short.
The beach one of the most scenic beach on the cape with warm, calm water and sandy shores.
The area contains something for everyone who loves the outdoors.
This area brings young professionals, couples, social groups and families seeking some relaxation and fun away from the stress of real life.
We had an awesome week! Will leave key and everything else in good order. I'll be in touch soon about renting again next summer :)
Our stay in this beautiful, spotless house was so easy and peaceful. The house provides the ideal off-season experience, with great access to a beach that is perfect for long walks. We took full advantage of the fish markets in nearby towns to prepare great meals in the beautifully equipped kitchen. The furnishings are comfortable and the design of the house (upside down, with bedrooms downstairs) was just perfect for keeping a two-year old happy while the adults enjoyed cooking, drinks on the deck, and the gorgeous ocean view. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful time reconnecting with friends and family in this beautiful Truro home. Great open floor plan with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, and a great, well equipped kitchen to prepare meals with friends! Beautiful sunsets every evening! John you were great to work with throughout the process! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
The photos don't do this place justice. The space is flooded with light and extremely open, with gorgeous views of the bay. I was shocked to see how gorgeous the association beach was; truly one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen on the Cape. John was extremely helpful both before and while we stayed in the home. The home is immaculate. We couldn't have asked for a better rental.
We started off our vacation with rainy weather, but it didn't stop us from having fun. The big table was great for playing games and just hanging with each other. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. The house was very clean and comfortable for sitting and relaxing. The deck was huge and great for a party of 10!! The men in the group had a good time fishing at the nearby beach and a beach just down the road. Going down to the beach is a bit more of a struggle for elderly people or someone who has difficulty walking as there are alot of steps. But the beach is beautiful! Area shopping such as Orleans & Wellfleet closed earlier than we expected around 5pm. But Chatham shops were open a bit longer and were plentiful and nice! It was early in the season for the area and places stay open longer as the season gets into full swing ( we were told by a friendly lady in a store). But the upside is no crowds!! The Stop and Shop which was 10 min from the house was great and had friendly workers!
Renting this house exceeded our expectations. Not only was the house beautiful but John was incredibly helpful. Prior to checking in he sent us a packet of information filled with places to go, eat, and see. We utilized many of his recommendations and it was great to have this packet as a back up for questions about the house. The house is private and in a serene setting; the photos really don't do it justice. You feel like you are tucked back in the woods in your own private compound! We had a great time cooking in the huge, well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed having cocktails on the deck looking at the distant waterview. I would highly recommend this house, but I do so with some hesitation- I wish I could keep this secret all to myself!
We stayed at the house for Columbus Day long weekend and had a great time. The place is super clean, has everything you can imagine, just a 3 minutes walk from the one of the most gorgeous beach in Truro. I always admire beaches on the south side, little did I know, how amazing ocean on the north site of Truro. Our overall experience -- one of the best short vacation we had in a years.
