Our first visit to Anglesey and hopefully not our last! Castaways is a great place to relax - we did a lot of this due to the inclement weather!
Thank you Clare and Rai for the warm welcome; we had a fab week.
We had a really lovely relaxed holiday at Castaways!
Clare made us so welcome and has made a delightful charming cottage to escape to fora much needed break!!
It was a delight to meet you and I do hope you return one day . Thank you for your kind words which are really appreciated . ❤️
Beautiful and peaceful location
A beautiful quaint cottage, very comfortable, with a gorgeous, secure garden overlooking fields of cows and onto trees with nesting egret, heron and buzzard. Our hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. I'd highly recommend it and we look forward to returning.
beautiful spot in Anglesey!
The house was spotlessly clean and my two girls and I enjoyed the lovely kitchen that had everything we could have needed. The electric fireplace was brilliant and kept us warm. Upstairs bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable, and so was bath and shower! Clare and Jenny was so welcoming and even had Easter chocolate and bunny eggs waiting for us with afternoon tea all set up on the table with white wine!! It's perfect place to stay to go climb Snowdon, horse riding (5 minutes away), Holyhead, Lladuno, Great and Little Orme, and Beaumaris.
Thank you for lovely memorable stay and we'll definitely come back!.
Cosy,homely and wonderful
What a beautiful place to stay to escape everything. The only sounds you hear are birds and sheep. Wonderful place run by wonderful people. We will return again and again.
How very kind and Thankyou. The weather always helps but as Spring approaches it is certainly an escape from the chaos of every day living. Thank you for visiting and I sincerely hope we do see you over and over . Delightful guests 😀
A warm welcome awaited again at Castaways. Fresh flowers, delicious cake, lovely eggs and tea things ready to go. Beautifully clean and homely, everything you need. An enclosed garden ideal for our four legged friend. Our fourth visit and not our last. The peace and quiet is just perfect for rest and relaxation. We recommend to friends who have already been to visit us during our stays. Newborough Forest and Beach is on the doorstep, the island has so many beautiful spots to visit. Cemlyn Bay RSPB Nature Reserve is stunning, a new find for us. Lligwy Beach, Moelfre, Maltreath, Aberffraw, the list is endless. There are plenty of places to eat out if you wish within easy reach. Thank you to Clare and Jennie for another wonderful stay.
European Blue Flag award beach only 10 minutes drive away. Easy access to all of Anglesey's beaches and half an hours drive to the magnificence of the Snowdonia Mountain range.
