Why Owner chose Greenwater
Greenwater is the perfect getaway being only 90 minutes from Seattle. We love the short drive up to Crystal Mtn Resort and being minutes for Mt Rainier National Park. Bob's Cabin (named after long-time resident Bob Osgood) is a charming, cozy cabin with ample room for entertaining friends and family.
What makes this Cabin unique
Whether relaxing in the hot tub after a day skiing or hiking, there is nothing more enjoyable than listening to the sounds of the river from the deck at Bob's Cabin. Oftentimes Elk will wander through the property in the early morning of evening. Walk down peaceful Lumpy Lane to Wapiti Woolies for your morning latte or up to the historic Naches Tavern for a beer and burger. Whether you are looking for dramatic scenery on an all-day hike or a easy afternoon walk, all are available within minutes of Greenwater.

Enjoyed the Cabin
My wife and I had a great time at the Cabin and we really enjoyed our stay. There is nothing like a good ski day at Crystal and then a soak in the hot tub overlooking the river.
Also, appreciated the thought that went into the small touches like quality towels, soaps and a packet of coffee for that first morning; in case we had forgotten to bring some.
Glad you enjoyed your stay... hope we see you again soon!
It's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks! We loved it. Also the hot tub (which was very big btw) is out back and it's right on the river, very cool.
Relaxing cabin next to nature
We loved our stay at Bob's cabin. The hot tub was amazing after a full day of skiing, and the sound of the river was so calming. Really quite perfect in every sense of the word. Cabin is close to dining, close to Crystal, and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay! Thank you for your hospitality!
Bob's Cozy Cabin
Title says it all. 'VERY COZY" we will be back.
Bob's Cozy Cabin is like a big hug!
A visit to Bob's Cozy Cabin is a must-do! Close enough to the big city, it is a great getaway. The cabin is solid and stylish and just a wonderful slice of heaven. The upstairs is surprisingly big! It is fun to check out the river and walk through the neighborhood. Also the local businesses and hiking at Crystal complete the whole package. Enjoy!
Thank you Kathy... really enjoyed hosting you and your family! It was very special that you knew Bob, he was a wonderful friend.
Bob's Cabin was a nice retreat for a few days for us, and Steven's birthday! Just a little issue with housekeeping that has been resolved. We were pleasantly surprised to find that you can leave your windows open at night and sleep to the sound of the river. There was an added bonus for us because we were able to watch the salmon run in the river behind the cabin. This cabin is also a perfect location to stay to access the Sunrise entrance to Mt Rainier. We were a little concerned about the fires nearby but Mike assured us all was clear...and it was. Wapiti Woolies has good coffee and quite a good selection of gifts, and really nice people. Thanks for everything!
