I'm originally from the East coast, but have lived in Colorado for over 22 years.
I'm a nature lover and enjoy living in the mountains with all the amazing wildlife and beauty that Colorado provides. I regularly hike and ski but also enjoy fishing and traveling near and far as well.
I'm a local realtor and can also help you find a mountain home to purchase if that is your reason for coming to Colorado.
Pam purchased this chalet in 2012
The location and setting are spectacular! There is so much to do without leaving the immediate area such as hiking, cross country skiing, fishing in the lakes, swimming in the heated pool, or playing tennis on one of the three courts!
The views are amazing from each and every window in this home. Views of the surrounding mountains can be seen as well as rare birds and wildlife.
Ice skating, snow shoeing and cross country skiing are available during the winter.
Swimming is fantastic in our beautiful heated pool in the summer is always fun. We provide the beach towels! The hammock and barbecue are wonderful additions to your stay as is the totally equipped kitchen.
This is a unique architectural home with a covered porch which can be used all year.
My husband and out two children had a glorious vacation here at this home.
Everything was perfect... The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped.
The high speed wifi and flatscreen TV with Cable and video library kept us entertained.
The lake is up to the highest level and great for boating and fishing!
The owner was very responsive to our needs.
We're telling our friends and family to book early for this summer!
We can't wait to come back here.
We stayed at the lake front cottage in January and it was beautiful. We enjoyed the gas stove and the well-equipped kitchen. Driving to Boulder or Estes is very easy from this location. We found the owner to be very easy and pleasant to work with, answering our many questions about things to do in the area. We cannot wait to come back here in the summer to enjoy the paddle boats on the lake!
We are just back from a month in Pam's wonderful Tree House. From each level is a view that includes trees tops, sky, stars and mountains. Each morning we were greeted by the sounds of Ravens, Stellar Jays and turkeys - a flock that walked past the house at the beginning and ending of the day. In the evening we often heard coyotes and owls. For full immersion in the mountain experience, this is the place to be. We especially loved the two mile hike from the cottage door to a private, scenic valley. The perfect retreat. Pam was available and responsive to all of our questions.
Very nice mountain home - stayed there while visting Estes. Loved having coffee in the morning with all the hummingbirds on the deck - and saw a big elk on the first day there. Very secluded home that offers everything you need.
Although Pam was very nice via email, once we arrived we were approached by the HOA of the community and asked to leave as we were told she was behind on her HOA payments and in addition to that, this community was not able to rent their homes via VRBO. For these reasons, we were not able to use any of the amenities described in her property description and obviously asked to leave promptly. We were homeless in a sense as we could not find any hotels with availability for about 6 hours. Thus taking basically a day of fun and leisure off our calendar plans. We had to resort to stay in a RV park for 4 nights.
I understand there are two sides to every story and wish Pam the best but from one traveler to another, this was quite the downer on our arrival into Estes Park.
This property is amazing! It was a little rough to get there you might want a 4x4 vehicle but once you are there its worth it. We had such an amazing time and the veiw from the deck was absolutely breathe taking. If you are looking to get off the beat and path and just enjoy nature then this place is perfect for you. It sets 20 minutes away from estes park and 20 minutes from the little town of lyons. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who just wants to get away from it all. This place is so great and i will definitely be going back.
My daughter and I stayed here two nights in March. It was a perfect set up for us, I loved the coziness- without feeling cramped. We had freedom to get away into our own space.
Seating at the bar could be improved, those seats need footrests and cushions. And as any mountain cabin has its issues with bugs, someone with insecta- phobia could balk at the flies dropping regularly. But that is the nature of the great outdoors. The architecture is creative and inviting. Owner was attentive to our special needs. Lovely walk to the lake aided by a rope handrail. Great book selection and art throughout.
Easy access to hiking, snow shoeing and crops country skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Downhill, cross country skiing and snowboarding in nearby Eldora Resort is just a short drive and all major Ski resorts are only 2 hrs away.
This is a romantic and secluded getaway in the mountains perfect for a couple or for two couples ( 2 private bedrooms with king beds are provided, plus a small fold away cot) or a small family of 4 to 5.
