About Pam

I'm originally from the East coast, but have lived in Colorado for over 22 years.

I'm a nature lover and enjoy living in the mountains with all the amazing wildlife and beauty that Colorado provides. I regularly hike and ski but also enjoy fishing and traveling near and far as well.

I'm a local realtor and can also help you find a mountain home to purchase if that is your reason for coming to Colorado.

Pam purchased this chalet in 2012

Why Pam chose Rocky Mountain National Park

The location and setting are spectacular! There is so much to do without leaving the immediate area such as hiking, cross country skiing, fishing in the lakes, swimming in the heated pool, or playing tennis on one of the three courts!

What makes this chalet unique

The views are amazing from each and every window in this home. Views of the surrounding mountains can be seen as well as rare birds and wildlife.

Ice skating, snow shoeing and cross country skiing are available during the winter.

Swimming is fantastic in our beautiful heated pool in the summer is always fun. We provide the beach towels! The hammock and barbecue are wonderful additions to your stay as is the totally equipped kitchen.

This is a unique architectural home with a covered porch which can be used all year.

Guestbook comments from the manager

My husband and out two children had a glorious vacation here at this home.

Everything was perfect... The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped.

The high speed wifi and flatscreen TV with Cable and video library kept us entertained.

The lake is up to the highest level and great for boating and fishing!

The owner was very responsive to our needs.

We're telling our friends and family to book early for this summer!

We can't wait to come back here.

Cute Cottage on the lake!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the lake front cottage in January and it was beautiful. We enjoyed the gas stove and the well-equipped kitchen. Driving to Boulder or Estes is very easy from this location. We found the owner to be very easy and pleasant to work with, answering our many questions about things to do in the area. We cannot wait to come back here in the summer to enjoy the paddle boats on the lake!

Absolutely wonderful

  • 5 of 5

This property is amazing! It was a little rough to get there you might want a 4x4 vehicle but once you are there its worth it. We had such an amazing time and the veiw from the deck was absolutely breathe taking. If you are looking to get off the beat and path and just enjoy nature then this place is perfect for you. It sets 20 minutes away from estes park and 20 minutes from the little town of lyons. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who just wants to get away from it all. This place is so great and i will definitely be going back.

Hideaway with personality

  • 4 of 5

My daughter and I stayed here two nights in March. It was a perfect set up for us, I loved the coziness- without feeling cramped. We had freedom to get away into our own space.

Seating at the bar could be improved, those seats need footrests and cushions. And as any mountain cabin has its issues with bugs, someone with insecta- phobia could balk at the flies dropping regularly. But that is the nature of the great outdoors. The architecture is creative and inviting. Owner was attentive to our special needs. Lovely walk to the lake aided by a rope handrail. Great book selection and art throughout.

Fun mountain home

  • 4 of 5

We had a pleasant stay over Thanksgiving. The house has a fun architecture and truly gives you the mountain experience. Very comfortable upstairs master suite. Owner was very attentive. It's good to bring extra groceries, especially if you go during winter, since it takes time to get into town. Very pretty when it snows!

Perfect Colorado Mountain House

  • 5 of 5

The house & the views exceeded my expectations! The house was beautifully decorated and super warm and inviting! Loved all the beautiful spaces to enjoy especially the 2 patios outside. The house also had everything you needed to make your stay enjoyable. The drive to the house as well as the views from all over the house were amazing! Really looking forward to staying there again soon.

Secluded Mountain Retreat

  • 4 of 5

It's not every day you get to stay at the top of a mountain, and the top of the trees! This property was a really neat experience. The house was clean, the beds are amazing, and the views are gorgeous! We were even lucky enough to come across a bear just down the road as we were leaving one morning (so be aware they are close by)! We enjoyed several peaceful dinners on the deck, the community pool, and all the amenities of being in a home. Depending on what you are coming here for, I must also point out the drives. It is 15 minutes from the house to the main road, so 30 minutes to Estes or Lyons. It is a good 1.5 hour drive to Denver. So stop at a grocery store and get your coffee, eggs, and bread before you head up the mountain - you won't just "run" to the store. The directions are exact, you shouldn't have a problem finding it the first time in the daylight. We did not have any problems with the roads or the keys as previous renters stated. And Pam (owner) was always prompt and polite with questions or concerns. Enjoy!
