About JT & Helen
We are river loving couple who want to give our guests the not-your-average-hotel opportunity to stay in this cozy and unique setting and share the beauty of nature and the river.
JT & Helen purchased this Chalet in 2012
Why JT & Helen chose Hudson
The unique private natural setting on the bluff, large lot, and the beach below sold us on this 'escape'. It is very close to both Stillwater and Hudson, two delightful river towns.

An inspiring, earthy and serene experience. We felt totally immersed in the this beautiful, sophisticated cabin and and it’s natural surroundings
Wonderful spot for a girls’ weekend!
unique property in great location. Good energy
Another great stay
The new bridge provides much quicker access to Stillwater. We liked the new dishwasher and Pur pitcher. Flashlights came in handy. The barbecue is great for outside summer cooking.
Well equipped, very clean, MB shower needs minor repair..would rent again
This is a truly unique, modern, yet natural setting that is difficult to describe, but somewhere between a chalet and tree house with multi-tier decks and patios will get you close. The property is about 3 acres with approximately 300' of private water frontage on a very wide area of the St. Croix River. The beach lies down the steep sandy bluff. Although the property has private water front, the house sits in a private cove at the top of a steep, sandy, treed hill. We hike up and down a rustic marked path, but it is about 350' of hill and is a short, but strenuous hike. It is only accessible for the fit and adventurous and boots and gloves are recommended.
Please Note: This is just south of Stillwater, but on the other side of the bridge.
