About Allison

We are a family that enjoys NH during all seasons. Although we live and work in MA, we love to escape to NH for summer fun, fall foliage, winter skiing and down time with family and friends.

You will find this home is suited for friends and family gatherings, ski getaways, summer relaxation, 4 season fishing, and kayaking spring, summer and fall. For the last 14 years we have enjoyed the many lakes region and white mountain attractions as our kids have grown up camping in Meredith NH. Although we thoroughly enjoy this home a few times during the year we continue to camp and play in NH.

One of our new past-times is maintaining this home and making it an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Allison purchased this house in 2011

Why Allison chose Lake Winnipesaukee Area

We have camped in and loved this area for escaping with friends and family since 1998. In 2011 we were fortunate to purchase this home and have renovated throughout. Every attempt has been made to set this home up for a successful rental experience. Guests are valued customers and we look forward to your reviews and feedback.

The location offers a quiet beautiful setting while being close to all the attractions and supply stores etc.

What makes this house unique

The new multi-tier decking is fabulous. You will spend countless hours enjoying the views and watching the wildlife and lake front activities. Inside and out you will enjoy views throughout your stay. Any inclined early birds will view some spectacular sunrises....then we suggest you take the kayaks out while you watch/listen as the birds, loons and wildlife come alive.....or sleep in and catch the Weirs Beach fireworks if that is more your style.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"Hi Allison,

I just got back to the office today. I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in your beautiful home. The weather was perfect and there wasn't anything we needed, because your home is stocked so well. The kids had a blast in the water, and the adults were grateful for the dock because we had the opportunity to use someone's boat which allowed us to venture over to the sandbar and the Naswa for some adult fun. We spotted a bald eagle 3 times during the week and were in awe at its beauty. Your neighbor was very friendly. All in all it was a peaceful and relaxing week. One of the kids left you a piece of art that she painted as a thank you. Hope you get to see it. Again thank you so much for a wonderful family vacation." - Thank you Judy for sending this email. We love the painting left on our mantle! So glad you all had an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful home on Paugus Bay

  • 5 of 5

Twelve members of our family enjoyed celebrating my mother's 70th birthday (ages 2-90). The accommodations were wonderful and everyone slept comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked compared to the many other homes we have rented. We enjoyed doing a "float-tilla" over to the beach bar a couple times using the kayaks, canoe, paddle boat and rented paddle boards, we also made our way to the lake front ice cream shop. We made a lot of memories and hope to return!

Owner's Response: Love the "float-tilla" to The Naswa Beach Bar & Grille!! We have already purchased an additional tandem kayak to add for Summer 2018. Now 2 tandems and 2 single kayaks + a canoe, plenty of inner tubes and a pedal boat. We hope you will return for more memories. Thank you for celebrating in our home! Allison & Robb

Wonderful house, perfect spot for fishing and kayaking.

  • 5 of 5

This little piece of heaven was the perfect spot for our yearly trip with friends. The house is really nice, clean, with a stocked kitchen, lots of games, nice hot tub and a beautiful peaceful view. It was the best spot for fishing on a small trolling boat, because the water was much calmer then out in the bay. Overall one of our favorite vacation rentals. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful, warm, relaxing, with every amenity you could want!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 just spent one of the most relaxing, lovely weeks of vacation we've had in a long time in this beautiful home. Every day we woke up to the combined view of cove and bay just outside our back door. We kayaked galore and spent lazy afternoons floating in inner tubes and swimming in the cove. We ate every lunch and dinner on the deck, feeling the breeze and listening to the birds and the boats. We spent evenings in the hot tub and around the fire. Our 3 teenagers declared it one of the best vacations we've had! Our hosts have provided everything you could want, from outdoor toys to kitchen tools to DVDs to comfy beds. We explored the surrounding towns a little bit - there are so many cute areas to discover! - but what we really enjoyed was being back at the house, on the deck or in/on the water. Thank you to our hosts, who've thought of pretty much everything families could want or need. We hope to be back!

Fabulous Lakehouse

  • 5 of 5

We love this house!! We just spent our 6th annual family summer vacation at Allison and Rob's home. We affectionately refer to this home as "the Lakehouse," and it has become a cherished family tradition. The home has everything you could want or need and can accommodate a large family or more than one family. The lovely sandy beach in the cove is great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The seclusion of the cove is great for young children and privacy, yet just on the other side of the railroad tracks is Paugus Bay. Our grandchildren, ranging in age from 8 to 1, enjoy waving to the train when it goes by several times a day. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. And let's not forget the hot tub on the second level of the deck. You can see the fireworks from Weirs Beach, and the adults enjoyed unwinding after the children were asleep for the night. We will be back in 2018, and look forward to making more family memories. Thank you, Allison and Rob, for your hospitality.

Spent a week in June 2017

  • 5 of 5

We spent the last week of June at this wonderful home celebrating my in-laws 50th anniversary. The house has everything needed to make your stay a pleasant one.The location gives good access to everything in and around Lake Winnipesaukee. The views from the deck every morning were stunning.

The family did quite a bit of fishing and kayaking while we were there and we made it over to the small beach on Paugus Bay for some swimming. We headed to Gunstock and zip lined and did all the other activities they offer. I also managed to play a few rounds of golf at a couple of local courses. The ladies did some shopping in Contoocook and Meredith and some of the group also got over to Wolfeboro as well. We cooked most nights at the house but we did go the "O" Steak House in Laconia for dinner and would highly recommend it (thanks for the recommendation Allison).

My brother in-law left a few of his life jackets at the house and Rob and Allison were very kind in assisting with the return of them to him. Allison was very responsive to all of our questions and was timely with her responses. The family was very pleased with our stay and I don't think we could have asked for a nicer home to have rented for our gathering. Thank you very much Rob and Allison .

Great for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

This lake house is right on the water and has a fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of sleeping space will provide privacy for the adults and the bunk room will give the little ones a great space for pajama parties. The outdoor grill is great fo cooking and the deck has plenty of room for eating and relaxing. Overall a great week for our family trip
