Open living space on main floor with beautiful kitchen/living room/dining room. 2 BR/1BA on main floor, 2 BR/2 BA on upper floor. Lower floor family room with custom 48” flat screen entertainment center. Top floor deck with spectacular views of Flatirons; lower deck perfect for BBQ entertaining. Large south-facing atrium entrance captures solar energy and bright light.

Fantastic restaurants and shopping nearby. Cable TV, on-demand movie streaming, Blu Ray DVD, CD, & stereo system. Plenty of reading material and wi-fi throughout the house.
Home is centrally located, approximately 12 blocks west of the University of Colorado but far enough away from campus to be peaceful and perfect for morning or evening walks. Traveling to Pearl Street Mall is about a 3 minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 15 minute walk. There is a separate, self-contained English garden apartment with own entrance that may occasionally be occupied by owner (this space is in addition to the 2800 sq ft noted above). We are an active family who lives in the house for much of the year, but travel much of the summer.
We live in a quiet neighborhood and prefer to rent to vacationers who will not have a negative impact on the neighbors. Specifically, that means the fewer automobiles the better, and no large parties are allowed.
30 minutes drive to Eldora Ski Resort, 1.5 hours to the major ski resorts (Vail, Copper, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge), and about 40 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park (Estes Park), Denver, Blackhawk Casino, and other fantastic Colorado destinations.

Jeff purchased this house in 2008
We love the location of this home. Close to Chautauqua Park, University of Colorado and Pearl Street, while still being in a quiet neighborhood. This is Boulder's ideal location.
Peaceful backyard with multiple patios and decks. Beautiful, open kitchen with large, separate pantry. Flatiron views from the master bedroom king size bed. Great flow for entertaining.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed out time in Boulder at this home. Clean, bright, and very convenient. We have 4 kids and they had a great time - and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was fun to cook in, and we had a nice time just hanging out. The big country table was perfect when we had people over for Thanksgiving. No complaints.
Spent 3 nights in June, 2016 with business friends for the weekend. The property is in excellent shape and was very comfortable. Plenty of space to hang out and a nice quiet back yard and in a quiet neighborhood. Grilling was easy and close to the kitchen. Large kitchen area and spacious dining. Two of us are hikers and did Sanitas twice early in the morning. Chautauqua Park is very close by and offers great hiking too. Close to Pear street and far enough from CU but we were there after school was out for summer. No one had any complaints about the location or accommodations. I recommend it for a small group of friends, girls weekend, or a family or two.
We enjoyed our week at Jeff's house over the week of Thanksgiving. We were 2 families with 5 children under the age of 5 and it worked perfectly. It worked well to have one family across 2 bedrooms upstairs and the other family across 2 bedrooms on the main level. The kids made great use of the backyard both on the sunny warm days and snowy days and enjoyed the lower-level TV room and the many toys, games, and books. The kitchen was well-equipped for prepping a Thanksgiving feast and the big table was perfect for the family celebration. We enjoyed being close to Chautauqua Park and Pearl Street and also enjoyed staying cozy indoors on the heavy snow days. Jeff was very helpful and responsive and left us with good instructions about the house. We would definitely stay again and recommend the property.
My girlfriends and I enjoyed 4 nights here in June. The accommodations were very nice and comfortable. The home is centrally located between Chataqua park where there is plenty of beautiful hikes and downtown Boulder/Pearl Street mall. Both within walking distance but there is a slope so a little tougher depending on which way you are headed. Jeff was very responsive and you can tell that he maintains the property. There is plenty of room for 6-8 adults or a family. The view of the Flatirons is spectacular from the second floor. Highly recommended as a vacation destination and property.
This was the perfect home for bringing all the children and grandchildren together for the first time. The home is very well equipped (especially the kitchen!), very clean, and convenient to downtown Boulder, as well as the many hiking trails nearby. There is ample room on three levels so that everyone can have space to call their own. The large backyard is fenced in, and the in-ground trampoline was an instant hit with the grandchildren. We hope to get everyone together at this home again, maybe next year.
We stayed here for 8 nights but I wish it could have been longer!!! Boulder is such a wonderful town with a lot to offer and this amazing property puts you right in the middle of it all. It is gorgeous and very comfortable. Super clean - super nice and really easy to book!
The place is right next to Chautauqua park, so it is a beautiful walk with an amazing view!
Our interactions with the owner via email, phone and in person were very positive and they were very accommodating.
Would highly recommend to anyone.
Our stay was over the Christmas holiday 2013 and it was a wonderful choice for our family.
This home is uniquely outfitted in decor and design. Everyone had a bedroom and we used the owner's Pak n' Play for our 18 month old grandson in the downstairs TV/media room to sleep. The kitchen is outfitted with a great stove and oven, coffee maker/grinder, really most any amenity you would want. In addition, the family supplied us with a variety of teas and coffee, cooking oils, staples for baking and spices. So, if you would like to cook in occassionally, instead of eating on the Pearl Street Mall, this is a great home inwhich to do so. Thank you for the lovely fruit and treat basket. It took a few days of my daughters convincing me that, 'Yes, indeed, the basket was left for us!'. We really enjoyed dinner at the long, beautiful wooden table where everyone could be seated (6 and 8 with guests at Christmas). We even used the gas grill one night in December!
With a toddler, we brought a baby gate from home and got creative to block another stairway. There are several stairways of just a few stairs making for an interesting floor plan.
This home is close to Chautauqua Park for hiking which we did most every day and a play park for children. We walked to the Pearl Street area for people watching, shopping and eateries. Highly recommend is Piece, Love and Chocolate's sipping chocolate! Oh my! There are great choices for dining in Boulder. Frasca and L'Atelier are on the high end. More moderately priced dinners are at Riff's Urban Fare. Lucile's is good for breakfast with flaky biscuits and beignets as nice treats with homemade strawberry rhubarb jam! Zolo's is good mexican although a little pricey for mexican. Breadworks has nice baked goods and soups. If you enjoy live music, the Boulder Theater sometimes brings in real good groups.
Whether for a holiday, graduation, retreat or vacation this is a lovely home that is well maintained and cheery. The hosting family is very helpful and accommodating. We hope your experience will be as nice as ours!
Walk to Chautauqua Park (5 minutes), Pearl Street (15 minutes), or CU-Boulder (10 minutes). Great road biking (Flagstaff Mtn, Boulder Creek, canyon rides), mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking trails, and other recreational opportunities nearby.
