Wake up each morning and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee on the private balcony, with a beautiful view of the valley. Spend your day playing tennis on the courts, playing horseshoes, hiking, antiquing, and much more!
Chateau Morrisette is only minutes away, and offers wine tours, delicious meals in their restaurant, and a shop so your winery tour can continue at home. Villa Appalachia also does daily wine tours. For the golf enthusiasts, Olde Mill golf course is nearby and boasts a full bar, lunch and dinner menu on site. Meadows of Dan is also close by, with several shops, including Nancy's Candy Factory. If you'd like to visit historic Mayberry, Mount Airy is 20 minutes away and includes an Andy Griffith museum.
As you unwind in the evening, the full wall of windows in the main living area gives you a beautiful view of the night sky and the valley all lit up. Soak in one of the jetted tubs, as the condo has double Master bedrooms.

First bedroom bath tub it clogs and second tub doesn't have hot water, the towels had to wash them before used cause they had a funky smell same as bed sheets, also the TV in the first beedroom doesn't work couldn't watched TV there at night, but other than that the place was nice and clean and beautiful views.
This condo is beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms appeared to have been recently remodeled. Kitchen was small, but nice and had everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and brought fire starter logs and wood with us; however, there was wood available on the property. Unfortunately, during out stay, the local restaurant was closed for the season. We arrived late in the day after a six hour drive and came unprepared (no groceries or coffee!). Since it was getting dark, we weren't venturing back out into the winding roads. Recommend you bring with you coffee and basic groceries for one or two meals. The property is stunning and we would stay here again. TIP: We drove into Floyd on a Saturday and had lunch at the Country Store where they had live music and the performers were outstanding!! (Just one more thought... when we arrived at the condo, one of the windows was broken/cracked, but it did not affect the functionality of the property. We simply emailed the owner to let him know in case he was unaware.)
Our stay was everything we expected. We were in the area to attend the Martinsville Speedway races the weekend of 10/28-10/30 and wanted to stay somewhere nice about an hour away and were more than pleased with our stay in this condo. The drive east to Martinsville was gorgeous and there were so many nice little places to stop along the way. The condo is nicely furnished and had everything that was needed for our stay. The view was stunning with the trees in all their fall foliage glory! The two master bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, was perfect for me and my husband and our adult son who drove down from Fairfax to visit with us. I would recommend this charming property to anyone who is in need of a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we're back in this area. Thanks Chandres for being an amazing host - we loved our weekend!
Location is ideal for traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our stay was wonderful - all the peace and quiet we needed. The condo was nice and comfortably furnished. Easy to access. Beautiful views out windows. Everything we needed was included. The condo is a fantastic value for the price. I would absolutely recommend this property and will stay again next time we are in the area. The owner was very responsive to our needs. Mt Airy is a fun little town to visit. Lot of other small towns in the area plus all the sights on the Blue Ridge. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.
The title of this review conveys my overall impressions. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped with the basic necessities. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is literally seconds from the property and the views from the deck are beautiful. My only concern regarding the rental are that two items, coffee and firewood with starter, were not provided. These items were promised by the owner in the listing and I felt those amenities gave this rental an edge over its competitors.
Very nice and clean. Beautifully furnished and the kitchen had a few things like spices and paper towels, which is always appreciated. There was not coffee, but I had brought my own, anyway. Loved having the fireplace and firewood ready to go. Great view!
