We are the Truzinski family and have made Paradise Valley Montana our home. We spent nearly 15 years traveling to Yellowstone National Park to photograph and hike the back country. In 2007 we bought a vacation home in Paradise Valley on the Yellowstone River. We moved to Montana permanently in 2011. We have previously lived in CA, OR, WA, and CO, and while those states have much to offer, MT captured our hearts and minds...so much so, we call this 'home'. In 2012 we decided to start a modest vacation rental business to share this magical valley with others.
My wife, Dee Dee, and I have raised two daughters, Megan and Erica. Both are attending Montana State University, Bozeman, a short hour from Paradise Valley. Our spare time is spent hiking and photographing throughout Montana with a special focus on Yellowstone wildlife photography. We know Yellowstone wildlife patterns and behaviors better than 99% of the visitors and would be willing to share our knowledge and expertise with you.
DeeDee Truzinski purchased this house in 2012
Best fishing spot in the valley <3
The Riverhouse is ON the Yellowstone River. Walk out your back door straight down to the banks of the Yellowstone...throw in a line and catch your dinner. It does not get any better than this.
Our group of 7 women spent a weekend at this delightful home on the river. The house is rustic and charming, the views stunning, and it was close to the B-Bar Ranch for snowshoeing and Chico for an excellent dinner and a soak in the pool. Everyone greatly enjoyed staying at the property, and it was furnished and supplied with everything we needed. Delicious brownies awaited us upon arrival. All in all, a great place and we recommend it highly.
We had a wonderful stay. The house was exactly as it was advertised. Right on the Yellowstone River, beautiful views and easily accessible to Chico Hot Springs. A soak in the springs after a long day of sightseeing at YNP was wonderful. We would definitely go back.
Our stay at the Riverhouse in Paradise Valley was absolutely perfect! We arrived to freshly baked brownies! The house was so clean, neat, and well laid out for the six of us. The amenities were more than expected...fully stocked kitchen with anything anyone would need, including all cooking condiments. Such a convenience not to have to purchase these items for a weeks stay. 2 laundry rooms with soap provided (main house/apartment), bathrooms equipped with everything needed. DeeDee checked in with us to make sure all was okay.
We loved the location! Perfect! So easy to get to Livingston (grocery) for a quick dinner. Easy trip to Bozeman and Costco, (30 min.) and also the north entrance to Yellowstone (30-40 minutes away).
We purchased tubes at ACE Hardware in Livingston, so we would have them for the entire time. We floated the river from the Sinclair Station right to the house.
We had a awesome fly fishing guide, and even though we were late in the season, all caught fish in the surrounding areas.
Perfect place, wonderful owners. They truly work hard to make their guest and comfortable as possible.
We would definitely rent here again.
Thank you DeeDee and Megan for working so hard to make our stay so wonderful!

The house was great. I've stayed at a bunch of VRBO and Home Away rentals and this was the best overall for being well stocked with everything you can ever need. We launched kayaks a few times right behind the house and floated down the Yellowstone river. Saw some deer from the house too! Beds were very comfortable and there were yummy brownies waiting for us when we arrived. I recommend this house for sure.
We had a wonderful time on our stay at the Riverhouse! It is just steps from the Yellowstone River, where we had great fishing and enjoyed watching bald eagles in the mornings. The back porch was a perfect place to have morning coffee or afternoon wine and enjoy the view! Owners DeeDee and Megan were very helpful and we took them up on their suggestions of hikes, restaurants and activities in the area. The house is just a 40 minute drive to Yellowstone Nat'l Park, ......we went early in the mornings and and saw lots of wildlife while avoiding the afternoon crowds! A great vacation in a gorgeous spot!
First of all, the location of the home is gorgeous! Serene and peaceful. The home itself is very unique and charming. The guest apartment was perfect for my husband and me and our small children. The main house accommodated the rest of the family perfectly! Very clean and welcoming. There were even fresh brownies and a personal note awaiting our arrival! Hosts were super helpful and accommodating. I cannot wait to go back here!! **Make sure you check out the small gift shop next to the laundry mat in Emigrant (across from Sinclair) for awesome and affordable souvenirs!! <3
Along with Yellowstone a half hour to the south and a beautiful drive there, make sure you check out local 'villages'! There are amazing back roads and scenery you don't want to miss!!
