Why Margery Rosen chose New Seabury
Having typically vacationed in Martha's Vineyard over the summer, we decided to switch it up one year and rented a lovely property in Maushop Village. We were immediately enamored with the Nantucket style village, convenient location and proximity to the beach. That same week, we looked at properties and put in an offer on our "little piece of heaven". We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
What makes this Cottage unique
We chose this property over others in Maushop Village because it was recently renovated and had all the modern amenities we were looking for while maintaining that "beach cottage" feel. The close proximity to a private beach enables us to easily return home for lunch - without losing our prime beach spot. We find the village to be very safe, friendly and secure.

Best vacation ever
We love Maushop Village and the cottage is absolutely lovely. It's exactly as advertised. Margery (the owner) was extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We've been coming to the Cape for about 10 years now and this was the best vacation yet - and a lot of the credit goes to the lovely accommodations. Margery, thanks so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
Wonderful home & location.
Lovely home, very clean, great location. We had a great time. Would love to stay here again.
Fantastic location and property! The cottage was in pristine condition. Margery made the process of renting easy. I would recommend this property to all of our friends.
Our cape stay
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was adorable! We came early in the summer month , so it was not muggy. Just wished fan in master upstairs worked faster! Overall, great stay and marketplace fun!
Updated and Spacious
We love this house. It has more space than most, is on a quiet street and has lots of updates. The owner was very helpful. I highly recommend this rental!
Cozy, comfortable and a great location!
Our family of four had a wonderful time in our weeklong stay and felt very comfortable in this cute cottage by the sea! Our kids loved it so much that they didn't want to leave. We particularly enjoyed this location for its convenience towards exploring all of the Cape, making for many fun day trips. Exploring the nearby beach and kayaking about Popponosset Beach were family favorites (call RideAway Kayak and they will deliver and pickup kayaks at a really fun water access point nearby). The kitchen was perfect for making "home cooked" breakfasts and dinners, though nearby restaurants were fun to try (Moonakis Cafe in particular). Highly recommended.
Ideally located 100 yards from a private beach with easy access to hiking/biking trails. Only a 35 minute drive to Woods Hole to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Conveniently located 10 minutes from Mashpee Commons where you will find a grocery store, liquor stores, Starbucks, cinema, restaurants, outdoor cafes and many boutique shops.
