Relax in a spacious, clean, well equipped 2 bedroom condo minutes from world class beaches for a price that won't kill your vacation budget! The condo was updated in summer 2013 with new carpet, flat screen TV, and new patio furniture. The sleeper couch in the living room was updated in 2014.
This is the Big Island, and there's lots of things to spend your money on beside high priced lodging! The units at Fairway Villas are all nice and very much the same, so why stay with us?
Well, #1 we have a great price! #2 we have an excellent location near the pool, fitness center, barbeque, and overlooking the golf course with a mountain view, #3 we have a dedicated, covered parking space close-in which keeps your car out of the hot sun and shortens your walk (which very few units have).#4 we do not use one of the large management companies. We have a smaller, dedicated cleaning and maintenance crew which gives us immediate feedback regarding any problems. This means your unit will always be clean and ready for you!
We're just a short 20 minute drive from the Kona airport. Visit the nearby Costco or Safeway to stock up on supplies before you get head down the highway to the condo. Once you settle in to your condo, you'll appreciate the relaxing surroundings and convenience. Some of the nicest beaches in Hawaii are within walking distance or a short 10 minute drive away. Two mini shopping centers are just 100 yards past the gated entrance to the complex, offering you fine dining, a food court, a small grocery store, shopping, and a gas station.
You can enjoy breakfast or an evening glass of wine on the 2nd floor lanai overlooking the 15th fairway of the Waikoloa Country Club's beach course. The unit is centrally located and only 50 yards from the fitness center. Grill your steaks or seafood on one of the 6 large gas grills adjoining the fitness center. Relax in the infinity pool just a few steps further away, or loosen those sore muscles in the outdoor hot tub. Stroll the manicured grounds of the complex, or step outside the complex and walk the trails of the Waikoloa petroglyph preserve which are just yards away.
Beach gear you might need such as boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, or a cooler, all are provided for our guests.
Watch the evening sunset at the world famous Anaeho'omalu Beach (A-bay), which is just 1/2 mile away. Walk there or drive and park in the spacious public lot. Or take a dip in the placid waters and snorkel amid the tropical fish,coral, and turtles. Many other world class beaches are just a short drive away.
You'll find everything you need in this well equipped unit, tastefully decorated with Tommy Bahama furniture and accessories. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your vacation meals. Enjoy the tropical breezes on the lanai, or relax inside in the comfortable living room.
Note: the unit is strictly non-smoking, as is the entire Fairway Villas complex. Smokers must step off property onto nearby sidewalks to smoke.

Well stocked with everything needed. Great beach equipment.
Four of us recently spent 23 nights in F-22 at Fairway Villas. The condo is bright and airy with a lovely view of the golf course. It is well furnished and in a great location. It is convenient to the amenities in the complex and is just a short walk to shops and the beach. It is well located for getting to Kailua-Kona, Kawaihae, and Waimea. We made it our base for seeing much of the island, though we did spend a couple nights in Volcano to fully experience that area. There are many excellent restaurants and fine beaches not far from the condo, though a car is a necessity if you plan to leave the resort at all. We will all have many lovely memories of our time in the condo and on the lanai drinking Kona coffe and watching the golfers and the geese! We'd go back in a heartbeat.
Nicely appointed cond with plenty of beach and snorkeling supplies. Sitting on the lanai overlooking the golf course in the comfy chairs was one of the best ways to relax. It was great to have the pool nearby and easy walking distance to the King and especially the Queen's Marketplace, which has a grocery, nice coffee shop and Sensei Restaraunt (which is fabulous). Don't miss going to the Lava Lava Beach Club for lunch, happy hour or dinner--great atmosphere, and affordable food with sizeable portions (the pork nachos are incredible). Another unexpected find is Mai Grille,
at the King's course clubhouse-- great food and unexpectedly reasonable prices for a resort. Ed is very responsive, and provides some great tips for the area.
The only reason for 4 stars is because it is a second floor condo, so you can hear neighbors above sometimes-- but given the price its a lovely place and certainly much better than a hotel room.
I had a delightful stay at this unit. It's as lovely as it appears in the photos and is stocked with just about everything guests could want to enjoy their stays. The location is the best of both worlds. On the one hand it has the convenience of being just a 5 minute walk to two shopping centers with a grocery store, restaurants, and numerous other shops, yet the Fairways Village grounds themselves are very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. The location also is just a short walk or drive to A-Bay and about a 10-minute drive to what I think are the two best beaches on the Big Island--Hapuna and Muana Kea. I also appreciated the top-of-the line equipment in the fitness center and also top-of-line Weber barbuques very close to the unit. Finally, Ed, the rental agent, always was very helpful and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I've visited the Big Island more than a half-dozen times and I highly recommend this unit.
We were very pleased with the location of the condo complex, easy access to unit from parking, well maintained grounds, beautiful pool and view and BBQ set up. The interior of this rental is very nicely decorated, very clean, well stocked with necessities as well as extras. We loved the balcony over looking the golf course and sat out there most mornings for breakfast. There were no bugs inside condo which was important for us. We will definitely return to this location as often as possible. It was perfect.
Our stay at the condo was for 1 week. It was very comfortable. Very clean. There is everything you need in the kitchen. All the rooms are very comfortable. We took advantage of the tips we received from the owner, as to where to go. They were helpful. We will look into staying there again on our next trip to Hawaii.
