Why Sal Rihani chose Connecticut Ave/ K Street

Built in the early 1900s, the complex sits on a trianglular block in the heart of Foggy Bottom / West End. Located between Georgetown and the White house. One of the very few town homes left in that neighborhood, most of the space around is mid rise buildings. It has been renovated and upgraded with beautifully designed space.

What makes this house unique

Beautiful atrium that brings in natural light from the top floor all the way down to the first. Great separation of space but an amazing coziness to the entire place. There is a great deck and terrace in the back that sits in a private area inaccessible by the public.

Free Parking is available in a secured garage within a block of the house!

Large bay window to enjoy some reading or people watching while sipping your hot coffee or tea.

Starbuck's is literally across the street for those that need their caffeine fix.

Amazing property and location

  • 5 of 5

The property is conveniently located to all the major attractions around DC as well as the Metro line. Sal was amazing to work with, checking in on us during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. I travel to DC several times a year and this is one of my favorite locations to stay. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the city!

"Oasis in the heart of DC" - perfectly named!

  • 5 of 5

We highly recommend this house! It has the comforts of a lovely home -- with the attention to detail of a boutique hotel. When we arrived, we found a bottle of wine, bottled water and snacks waiting for us. The updated kitchen is wonderful and since the meal we had each day at the house was breakfast, we REALLY appreciated all the equipment for coffee! We had a Bialetti, a French press, and a Nespresso machine. What's more - there was coffee and Nespresso capsules for us!

The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are great, and the large TV in the sitting area was so nice after long days of sightseeing. The location is perfect - very easy to get an Uber, walk to Georgetown, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, etc. And yet, it's an oasis of calm and quiet.

Lastly, I can't say enough about Sal Rihani, our contact for the stay. He was terrific - SO responsive and helpful. If you've done a VRBO stay before, you know how important it is to have someone like him!

Beautiful brownstone in DC

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four stayed here and loved the property. We walked to many restaurants and points of interest, and loved that we were close enough to do so! The place was itself was comfortably laid out, nicely appointed and everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again on a return trip and have already forwarded the link to this VRBO to friends of ours who are interested in it. Our favorite part of it was sitting in the breakfast nook and watching all the people walk by! Thank you for a great stay in DC!

August in D.C.

  • 5 of 5

The Oasis is truly an oasis. A place to relax and refresh yourself as you get ready for another day of touring. Close to good restaurants and public transportation. The Oasis bathrooms and kitchen are very well supplied. The beds are plush and comfy. In the dining room, we found some games that we played in the evening. A truly enjoyable stay.

Wonderful family DC trip.

  • 5 of 5

Location is perfect, easy to walk to everything. Had elementary school kids, so great to have well appointed kitchen, close to groceries. Loved the cozy window seat. Comfy beds. Only addition would be some extra cable channels, however, much too tired after long days site seeing. Excellent and would stay there for next visit.
