Fully renovated – beautiful inside and out on 8 acres. There are 5 bedrooms (2 king, 2 dbl & 1 twin), First floor master suite, With full bath that includes a low sill easy access shower. There is another full bath and 2 half baths. There are hardwood floors in all the rooms (except kitchen & baths). The large wrap-around screen porch overlooking the lawn, meadow, and woods is the perfect place to relax. The living room, separate dining room, upstairs playroom, eat in kitchen, office, and huge porch, provide plenty of room for extended families. The FREE WiFi, A/C, cable, movie collection, 2 outdoor grills, beach chairs & toys, printer and washer/dryer provide conveniences to make your visit to the Island worry free. The Lambert’s Cove Private Beach pass is available. This is a quiet beach with life guard and off street parking. The house is equipped with a well stocked kitchen (multiple lobster pots, cooking ware and other necessities), board games, puzzles, dvds and a diverse libirary for children, teens and adults. A start-up supply of paper products (papertowel, toilet paper, tissues), soaps (dishwasher, liquid dish, liquid hand soap, laundry), and trash bags is provided at the beginning of each rental period. Why Bill Cook chose Martha's Vineyard

This home has been in our family for four generations. It has been recently renovated from top to bottom. The home was purchased by our grandfather in the early 1900's. It was originally build by the Athern's one of the first families to settle on the Island.

What makes this house unique

We love the tranquility of the the island. The house is perfectly located for access to all the wonderful things to do on Martha's Vineyard yet you avoid the crowds that are in the towns in the summer. Relax on the huge wrap around screen porch. overlooking the beautiful natural grounds. Watch for deer, turkeys and many different birds as you welcome the morning or relax in the evening. It is surrounded by 8 acres with open green space and woods. The house has hardwood and antiques pine floors in every room except the kitchen and bathrooms. The first floor master has an on suite bath and can easily accommodate someone with limited mobility.
